Unless it's due to health or family reasons, convince him to come fix this mess and mentor a heir apparent. Pay him whatever he wants. What's it to you? You're worth billions. I have no idea why Smith fell so far. Most draft pundits had him going as early as the 2nd, 4th at the worst. They were better than NFL talent evaluators in this case.
