  1. fug Baylor. That's why you're 6-5. Complete chicken poo coaching down the homestretch. Absolutely embarrassing.
  2. And now Baylor blows the chance to catch TCU with 12 on the field that would've moved the chains. You gotta snap that ball when you see that guy running for his life to try to get off the field. They are desperately trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
  3. I have no idea why Baylor has packed it in on offense their last two possessions seemingly willing to lean on their subpar D to try to win this. If they lose this game, this super conservative offensive approach is to blame IMO. You can't blame the D that you know is bad for losing it.
  4. He's made some really boneheaded throws today though. He should have a toast two INTs. Still a damn good college QB but I don't think he's an NFL prospect.
  5. Still not over though. TCU still has all three timeouts.
  6. Two pointer fails! Receiver dropped a walk in.
  7. TD TCU. They gotta have a two point conversion to tie.
  8. Baylor just has no pass rush to speak of. None They're bringing at least five nearly every snap and not even coming close to getting pressure.
  9. 28-20 Baylor. TCU forced to punt form deep in their own territory with 9 minutes to go. Another Baylor score puts TCU in a very tough spot.
  10. Agreed. Give them credit for pulling of the wins but this is a team that could easily have multiple losses. I just don't see that they're great at anything. They have significantly overachieved.
  11. TD Baylor. They go up one due to the missed TCU XP.
  12. Uh oh. Missed XP could potentially loom large. We'll see.
  13. TD TCU. Wide open. Baylor really blew it by not translating their 1st half dominance to the scoreboard.
  14. Baylor INT. Either TCU's QB flat out sucks or he's just having an awful day.
  15. What in the fug was that from TCU's QB? Had ALL DAY and threw an awful ball that should've absolutely been picked.
  16. Feels like Baylor missed a big opportunity in the 1st half racking up 320 yards and dominating TOP and yet going to half tied.
  17. Ouch. TCU INT on the endzone. Dude was open too. That ball had to be in the back corner.
  18. TCU tied it up at 14 but Baylor is moving the ball at will. Looks like they might be able to score again before half. TCU on pace to give up 600 yards.
  19. TCU needs to lose. I don't wanna see TCU in the playoffs.
  20. We're Panthers fans which means that a few weeks into the season there's pretty much nothing left to talk about except for hopefully a better future which means draft and potential coaches and frontier office folks. It is what it is.
  21. We won't honestly know his true rating until draft day. But it's gonna be a tall bar to clear guys like Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Robert Gallery, etc.
  22. The evaluators are the ones missing on those picks. That was my point. It's a very inexact "science". There wouldn't be near as much interest on the opinions of talking heads if the actual professional NFL talent evaluators proved to be better at their jobs but that's just the nature of reality.
  23. And yet just look at the reality that there are steals and busts in every NFL draft. Always has been, always will be.
  24. I think NFL talent evaluators sometimes get caught in the trap of viewing a guy they want to like through the lens of what they think he can be if he both maximizes his potential AND is out in an ideal situation in terms of surrounding talent and system. The perfect scenario. Unfortunately, that perfect scenario rarely actually materializes because there's 31 other teams out there competing for that surrounding talent and coaches and scheming to beat you. You gotta look at what a guy is LIKELY to be in a real world NFL situation.
