Yeah, Cam was in a league of his own physically and as a runner - especially in short yardage and red zone situations. The guy's rushing TD numbers for a QB may never be broken. He has more rushing TDs than great RBs like Eddie George, Stephen Davis, Willis McGahee, Larry Csonka, Thurman Thomas, O.J. Simpson, Herschel Walker, Terrell Davis, Jamal Lewis, etc.

All over the place. I'd seen as high as the upper to mid-2nd round and as low as the 4th-5th round. After the Senior Bowl, I expect the latter to be more accurate.

The reason we'd be making that deal is concern of being on the outside looking in on the QB run. If that's the case, the Raiders would probably be looking to climb higher than #8.

Manziel isn't a great comparison simply due to the off-field spoiled brat stuff. We never really got to see if Johnny Football would translate to the NFL because he never gave himself a chance. That sucks because I was genuinely curious to see if he would.

Not so sure about that. He averaged 15ypc with Darnold. 11.5 with Teddy. Darnold helped him as a former UDFA get a $20M free agent contract that changed his life.

I don't know what to make of him. Gase is proven trash so maybe he really does have a chance to be good. But honestly, if I'm the Jets and I can get a 1st for Darnold, I'm inclined to move him and use #2 to start over afresh with a new staff and a new QB and pickup an extra 1st in the process.

Picks #2-4 are all sending vibes of not picking QBs.

My preference would be to tank with Grier. But considering we were one late season W away from a proper tanking this year I can't see Rhule doing it.

He's definitely not. With all the need at QB out there and his ability and age, there would absolutely be a robust trade market if Gruden wants to move on. If he does, it'll be his undoing. They aren't in a position to likely get an upgrade.

He threw for 4100 yards and 27 TDs vs. 9 INTs this year. You damn straight I'll take that. We just tried to trade #8 and more for a guy who had nearly identical numbers this year and is four years older.

I mentioned this awhile back. Gruden never seems happy with a QB. Carr is a good QB. If Gruden does something knee jerk and stupid which would be par for the course, he wouldn't be a bad option.
