  1. If it happens I hope it's during the draftm I'd prefer to see how things shake out before settling for trading for someone else's trash.
  2. I like Fields and Lance both but I have serious questions about both. Just gonna have to trust the staffs evaluations on them. Hell, I'd say that about Wilson too for that matter. So much of prospect evaluations - particularly at QB - come down to the interviews, both with the prospects and their coaches, etc
  3. My preference would be QB in the 1st, OL in the 2nd.
  4. I said when we released him I'd be fine with it. The base honestly needs to be close to vet min though. Load it with plenty of incentives.
  5. Well, no poo. If they actually want to trade him they'll have to take less than a 1st because I can't see anyone giving up a 1st.
  6. Seems like a lot of the best OTs over the past 20 years or so fit this mold. They lack the ideal measurables and everyone wants to try to convert them to OG. Northwestern isn't a powerhouse school but they play in the Big Ten so he was routinely facing too college competition. There should be no shortage of film of him facing future NFL pass rushers.
  7. It would be awesome if Trask was able to become a legit starting NFL QB. I just really don't think that's gonna happen.
  8. Not a big deal. He wasn't very good. I wonder if we even made an offer?
  9. Holy poo, that second mock would be a near worst case scenario. As good as the first mock was, that second one was a trainwreck.
  10. I'll happily offer them if that happens.
  11. Wildly inconsistent passer. I was intrigued early in the year so I started watching. Gonna be a no from me unless we're talking 4th round.
  12. Yeah, I just can't see moving off #3 if you liked the QBs available and weren't sold on Tua. If they pulled off that trade and still get the QB they liked... well, damn. They just won the draft.
  13. Ah yeah, forgot that the Eagles had already traded back. Miami? I don't see it but crazier things have happened.
  14. That #3 QB last year looked pretty good.
  15. This current regime has shown minimal ability to orchestrate a smokescreen, but if they wanted to try one, yeah... I know a guy who would take that bait hook, line, and sinker.
  16. Jones to SF at #3 and Pitts to ATL at #4 would truly be some best case scenario stuff for us. The Bengals definitely aren't taking a QB and lots of talk that the Eagles ownership wants to roll with Hurts. That leaves Detroit and potential trade ups as the only hurdles. Hell, WE could be one of those potential trade ups.
  17. Every time you think this ordeal can't get any weirder, it does.
  18. Damn. That's a lot of money for a "good" WR in this off-season environment.
  19. Overall career, it's The Golden Calf of Bristol by a landslide. Most impressive single year, it's Cam. Auburn was a borderline top 25 preseason team that year. No one thought they were going to be a contender. All those other teams were absolutely expected to be to lop contenders.
  20. Anyone answering TE is out of their damn mind.
  21. This is such a weird story. These ladies really didn't do themselves any favors choosing this self-aggrandizing attorney who has claimed connections to Texans ownership.
  22. The players who signed long-term deals this off-season are really going to be kicking themselves. If there's ever been a year to bet on yourself with a one year "prove it deal", this was that year.
