  1. It was time a couple of years ago We had two back to back elite QBs and couldn't even get to double digit wins once. The time was handing off one of our QB Heisman campaigns (that we abysmally botched) to a new coach to lead us into the future.
  2. https://247sports.com/college/north-carolina/longformarticle/bubba-cunningham-on-mack-brown-decision-clarity-and-the-search-for-uncs-next-football-coach-240574866/#2552433 Very obvious what happened here. I mean he basically flat out said it. Listen, we begged Mack to retire and he refused so what other option did we have?
  3. If we don't switch it up and start playing full court pressure D we're just going to have to shoot lights out and have the other team have an off night to have a chance against top teams. We've trailed by 20 in three of our four games and ended up getting back in them by picking up the pressure. This team has to pressure and create pace because we don't have the post presence to play half court ball on either side of the court.
  4. Bruce Pearl is another Rick Barnes. Teaches a dirty ass version of basketball. Their teams just physically beat the poo out of you and dare the refs to do something about it.
  5. I mean, our bigs suck. Just own it. Play the two frosh and press the poo out of everyone. Basically recreate the old Arkansas 40 minutes of hell pressure D. You have to adapt to your roster. You can't just act like Armando Bacot is going to show up tomorrow. Cadeau, RJ, Jackson, Powell, and Withers should be our main five and just try to turn it into a track meet.
  6. Sucks watching Hubert getting taken to school here by a male cheerleader in Bruce Pearl. But he's getting thoroughly out coached here. No way around it.
  7. Auburn literally could've had 20+ fouls in that half. Hate playing teams like this. They picked up 5-6 quick ones then like always happens the refs start to get whistle shy not wanting to call a foul every possession and they start getting away with murder. The way they call the games encourages this type of play. If they keep fouling just keep calling it.
  8. This is why I hate playing hackathon teams. They get away with half of theirs because of ref whistle fatigue then they notice the foul count discrepancy and then you start picking up ticky tack bullshit to even the count on the box score.
  9. Any good big man is going to eat us alive. Auburn has a good one and he's eating us alive.
  10. Auburn is physical as hell and by that I mean they just hack the poo out of you knowing the refs won't call them all. They have five fouls in seven minutes and it could easily be double that.
  11. Carolina getting blown out in the first half again. We gotta fix this slow start problem.
  12. KU is the best team in the country right now but I don't think they will be in March. They're beating younger more talented teams with experience right now. Let these other teams get 30 games under their belt and I think they're beating Kansas.
  13. duke drew up a last second play to get a look for a guy who was 0-7 from three on the night? To no one's shock he goes 0-8. LOL The rest of the team went 11-18 from three. Seems like somebody else would've been a better pick. Same guy committed the turnover on the previous play.
  14. I just can't see a three loss team that isn't a household name getting in the field.
  15. Lost to BYU, had to go to OT to beat duke. I mean, they're decent but they ain't no #9 in the country.
  16. The Big 12 is hot trash. It's basically a mid-major conference. You bandwagon team has two bad losses. They're not even in the conversation.
  17. SCar suffers from little bother syndrome against Clemson. It's the best or second best team in the ACC against a borderline top 5 SEC team.
  18. Given the injury history and tendency toward penalties is be wary.
  19. Honestly haven't even thought about it. Just basking in the glow of moving on from Mack at the moment.
  20. He was still identified as a top 10 pick even with a losing college record. How in the world as a college coach do you have a losing record with a top 10 pick talent at QB? Hell, the ghost of Mack Brown still managed to have winning records with Howell and Maye even with no defense.
  21. All the way out. Talk to people who knows Texas HS football. The guy refused to recruit. We already saw how that turned out with Fedora. Kingsbury is right where he belongs IMO as an OC. Not every good coordinator has the right makeup to make a good HC.
  22. The internet is the greatest communication tool in the history of humanity and what did we do with it? We turned it into a vehicle of supercharged tribalism. LOL
  23. You just focused on the part you wanted to focus on. I said he showed poise and made some throws. You know, passed the eye test for once. What I was getting at is that he basically had a run of the mill "good game" for an NFL QB and he's been so bad that has people jumping for joy. It's a great step. He looked like a real NFL QB for once. Let's see what he does moving forward. Hopefully it's the start of something. Meanwhile, you just show up sporadically to poo on people who have the audacity to voice an opinion so why do you bother at all?
  24. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/north-carolina-coaching-candidates-jon-sumrall-barry-odom-dan-mullen-among-options-to-replace-mack-brown/ Be careful if you read all the way to the end. LOL
