Panthers need to go out and beat Tampa
LinvilleGorge replied to Shocker's topic in Carolina Panthers
Scoreboards reflect yardage now? Quick, someone alert our staff! We don't have to actually SCORE, we just have to accumulate yardage. -

So Matt Rhule has to hire better coaches and do a better job identifying talent. Bingo. That's why we're fuged. -

The needle is pointing straight down and it's 100% because of Tepper and Rhule. As long as Tepper's infatuation with this charlatan continues we're fuged. -

I hope we lose by 50. Until Tepper officially says Rhule is back I'm gonna hold out hope for something embarrassing enough to happen that forces his hand.- 169 replies

He'll step on the scales at the Combine at or very near 300. He'll focus on gaining weight between now and then and will be tanked up on water to the verge of puking.

Is Tepper a bottom 5 owner?
LinvilleGorge replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Until proven otherwise, yes. Inaction on this dumpster fire is inexcusable. -
This might be the best screen name currently posting on the Huddle. Laugh

I made it through Pickles. I made it through JR being a creep. I made it through unceremoniously cutting Cam. But I don't know if I'll make it through this. This feels truly helpless.

So Who Can/Should we Get as our New OC if Rhule Stays?

Investment? Holding onto those PSLs at this point is like those folks still stuck holding onto GameStop stock.

Most interested in hearing about Willis, Zappe, and Strong. See how they handle the step up in competition level and look with a stronger supporting cast. I've already formed my opinion on Howell, Ridder, and Pickett.

Is the defense really performing that well?
LinvilleGorge replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
This. If we had a good offense I think they'd look a lot better but this is a D kind of like the Manning era Colts. It's built to get after the QB and play with a lead. It's exposed when our offense sucks and can't score so the opposing offense can just run the ball down our throats not feeling pressured to put up lots of points. -
If they hire O'Brien that's gonna be hilarious. The guy who was last seen in the NFL creating the Texans' dumpster fire.

I just wonder which was due to editing? The first one or the "edit". I used to do a decent amount of freelance writing. Depending on the outlet, it's not surprising when you see "your" article posted and it's not a damn thing you actually wrote.

I fully expect Jason Garrett. He's still a "name". He's a former NFL HC. Rhule initially said he wanted one on his staff before bringing in the whole college crew. Rhule will sell Tepper on this as part of his "process" and Tepper will throw enough Money at Garrett to make him say "ah fug it, I'll cash another check before picking up the fishing rod and golf clubs".

I'm there as of a couple of weeks ago. Haven't watched the last two games. Don't plan on watching anymore Rhule coached Panthers games. If Howell find a nice landing spot I'm probably out for good. If he doesn't, then maybe I'll be inclined to tune in when the Panthers push the reset button again. I'm just not interested in watching Rhule and company shoot for another quick fix afterthought vet QB that no one else wanted which is exactly what's going to happen.

David Newton is a fuging embarrassment but he's the ESPN beat writer we deserve.
