  1. I would argue the team was lead by Rhule. Just like the years our offense was bad under Cam wasn’t because he’s not a great QB. There’s only so much that players can compensate for shitty leadership.
  2. that the problem with over emphasizing stats in general, they don’t reflect the actual impact. Pass rushers do more than just get sacks. Just to name a couple other ways they impact, pressures lead to bad throws (incompletions and interceptions). Double teams lead to other players being able to make an impact. There’s a lot more to it than “they get a sack .028% of the time”. It’s also why DTs can command high salaries despite usually not getting much on the stat sheet, and why even ones who aren’t Donald are still extremely valuable and expensive despite not showing up on the stat sheet much.
  3. I would guess Bosa waits on Burns’ deal since everyone knows Bosa’s should be the highest, and he’ll get like 1mil more
  4. That literally says he took part in individual padded drills. So he is really participating, just not in everything yet.
  5. With that circuitous logic, we should blame all 31 other owners since they voted to allow Tepper to buy the team. Or blame whoever invented the game of football. Or the founding fathers for creating the country in which football was invented. hiring Rhule was a mistake. Hindsight is easy, at the time Rhule was a hot candidate and we weren’t the only ones trying to hire him.
  6. You don’t think it’s in the NFLPA terminology to allow for holdouts? Semantics or not, it’s all part of the game and player holdouts are no less honorable than releasing a player before the agreed upon time (outside of egregious circumstances like misconduct.)
  7. Any time they cut a player before his contract expires.
  8. Until a team is forced to honor a contract, I don’t fault a player for playing the same game.
  9. I’m in AA county too, near Meade. I don’t watch at bars though, I watch at home. Used to go to bars to watch when I was younger in Hawaii a long time ago but it’s too easy to watch at home now to bother with all that nonsense lol.
  10. Love Luvu, reminds me of a young TD. Not quite as good as TD yet, but could get there.
  11. I believe the PC term is vertically challenged.
  12. Objectively, it’s the Saints but not by much. Bad coach, solid QB, and most of their good players are old. After that is us, then a gap then the Falcons and Bucs.
  13. Ypc is deceptive for a backup. Felix Jones had 7 or 8 ypc as a backup, they got rid of Marion Barber or whoever it was ahead of him and then Jones was pedestrian as a starter. Chuba has poor balance, blocking, vision and hands. He can break off a good run if the dominoes fall right. Maybe he can improve but I have more confidence in Blackshear tbh.
  14. I actually like it except the logo in the middle looks like it’s a sticky note attached to it. If they designed the center part better it would be awesome. All 32 teams’ have the same problem.
  15. Nah, Hardy was good from the start. Just didn’t get reps early and became elite in that third year. YGM hasn’t even been decent
  16. “Scoring touchdowns is a skill.” Tikki Barber ladies and gentlemen.
  17. On a positive note, Spencer Brown has been moderately impressive. Maybe moreso than my memory of Hubbard.
  18. Corrals throws are always all over the place. His receivers are always having to jump or leap forward or something
