Joe Brady almost overshadowed the injury bug
JawnyBlaze replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
There were some questionable calls but some really good ones too. He’s not perfect but Christ, it’s like some of you guys don’t remember the Shula years. Brady could be twice as bad and he’d still be twice as good as Shula. -
ANOTHER great tackle by DJax
-
Some of the worst refs I’ve ever seen
-
Jeremy Fowler reporting broken foot for Horn
-
That kick went back and forth so much you’d think there was a typhoon on the field
-
Tremble!
-
Brady, Darnold, Moore, Freeman and Tremble said fug you refs, we’re not letting you steal this one.

Tremble!

I think Freeman has more yards on that one run that Hubbard has all year. Leave him in. hyperbole. Maybe?
-
The Horn no call wasn’t even as bad as the no-call on the Texans early in the game. We didn’t get gifted any drives as a make up.
-
Wow. Just wow.

Another blatant hold

Also these refs are being too obvious. Holy f

DJax with the great tackle

Helluva tackle by DJax. And then Shaq as I type this

Eh. Some injuries are due to smaller frame, degenerative joints, etc things that can be foreseen and concerned about. Some injuries are just freak injuries that can happen to anyone. Someone who people project injury concerns on getting a freak injury doesn’t verify those concerns. Correlation doesn’t imply causation.
-
Exactly. If he could take that hit and not get injured, I’d say durability isn’t a concern yet.
-
I mean, it’s a groin injury. Not the sort of injury that being small really contributes to. Maybe durability ends up being a legit concern, but this isn’t really evidence of that
-
PFF is trash. That is all.

Go ahead, admit it. Huddle confessionals.

I have to admit, I thought the defense would be better…. nah, mines about the same. I thought our dline would be dominant, secondary would be at least pretty good but our lb corps would hold us back and be a weakness. And I’ve been critical of Shaq for a while, he’s playing well this year though. No denying that. -
Yes, when that punt was on 4th down without the option of getting a down back, lol

Meaning anywhere between 2011 and 2019?
-
You can call it premature to make this comparison, but Burns and Reddick remind me a lot of when Indy had Mathis and Freeney. And then on top of that we have a great DT group and great players in the secondary. If we can find a way to keep Reddick, Fox and Jones as well as the studs we drafted this defense is going to be legendary.
