If season ended today which QB would you take.
Jon Snow replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
That list is not very reassuring. -
My only concern with keeping Wilks as HC…

My gut say that we will get mostly retreads tossing their hat in the ring. I have to admit recent events have peaked my interest in Reich. -

That's why I said you never know. -

I hate to tell you this but that's exactly what you are going to have to do. There's no quick fix for this. There's 5 games left to watch these guys prove they should be part of the future. Whatever happens after that it's an entirely new team with a yet to be determined destiny. -

I wasn't aware we had a vote on who the Panthers next head coach will be. When did this happen? Seriously though, we have no say in it so let it play out. My bet is that the list lining up to take the job will not be long and it will be comically underwhelming. -

I truly believe everyone is under the microscope. At least I hope so. With Tepper you don't know what to expect. -
They played a post game press conference with the guy on nfl network today as well but i only caught part of it. He was a big fan of Reich and was not pulling punches. Sorry I didn't catch the name. Edit: Mr. Scot found it.

I'm still not convinced both of those guys are off the board at 5 or 6. They will have to ball out from here on out to separate themselves. I'm not ready to say a qb will go 1st overall. -

That because his his like Baker. They fuged up giving all that capital for that guy. -

Yeah that's what I keep hearing. But not quite like you said it. -
I never thought about him! Good call!

Wrong coach. Mr. Scot corrected my mistake.

I would have asked to see the manager and asked them that very question. That's some twilight zone stuff right there.

I seriously doubt anyone expect Sam to be anything other than his normal self and that includes him. I'm looking at it from Wilks perspective. If I were he I would be like look, I've started every qb we have other than this guy what the hell else can I do? They all suck!

Maybe Teddy Bridgewater wasn’t that bad….
Jon Snow replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
They were never going to replicate that first season even if Teddy were allowed to stay here. Rhule had his shot to draft a qb twice and chose to get his people to fix someone else's draft busts. -

I knew we were in trouble when I heard the size of the contract they gave him. It was all down hill from there. -
Then I have nothing meaningful to add to this conversation. Carry-on.

I think he got a DUI, or was that another coach on another team? I saw something mentioned briefly on nfl network this morning but I can't quote who it was.

I pied you for literally making me laugh out loud. Good one. Mind if I use that?

It happens when you let emotions cloud your judgment. Details and context are very important. I seemed to have let part of my professional life bleed into my football player analysis. I notice everything when I really focus on a player or situation. I also think it's become part a survival instinct to guage how much emotion I'm going to invest in the upcoming Panthers season.

He's getting fired even if they win. He's a dead man walking

Brother don't listen to me. I'm just an amateur at this stuff. The only advice I would give you is to tune out the "professional media know-it-alls". Also, I have a habit of noticing things most folks never even consider. I'm weird like that.
