    Brian Burns is not a franchise DE. DJ Moore is not a #1 wr. But yet you guys want to treat them as such when neither have lived up to those billings to date. Desperation will lead you down a path you do not want to go.

    No. I half heartedly hoped he could be a Cinderella story here as he was a local guy. That was probably more due to my own selfish desire to not have to endure any more shitty football. Today crapped all over that possibility.

    I'd rather we not look backwards but to the future. While it was fun when it happened, its long over. You can't recreate it or bring it back. Whatever happens going forward will be a new team with its own culture. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

    That's the first question Fitterer should ask Wilks in his interview for the full time gig when the season is over. The correct answer should be none. The second question should be to give hima list of OC and DC he would pursue to run his offense and defense. The answer to that determines whether there's any more questions.

    PJ is not the possible future for anything but maybe, and I do mean maybe a backup. Let's get that straight right here and now. He's just holding the fort until the season is over. Stop trying to make it anything other than that.

    The first half offense was terrible but he did better in the second half. He's easily replaceable.

    He's certainly accomplished more with much less than an coach I coach that I can remember. I would love nothing more than to see him succeed here. It would only be fair to allow him be given a chance to pick his coordinators and QB at least to get a shot here. To me there's just something unfair about the opportunity he's been given to prove himself here.

    The team opted to take the penalty on the extra point try instead of kickoff if I remember correctly. I thought I heard the announcers say that at the time. It struck me as odd at the time but I was still in shock at what had just happened.

    He doesn't have to be the guy. He just has to prove that he belongs here to sit behind the guy in case he may be needed. We are still looking for the guy.
