  1. Yes...no...whatever you want to believe. He gets the clicks either way.
  2. That's why they do not want to let him go until its the last resort. He knows that. The Ravens do not want to have to rebuild they're entire offense over if they can avoid it. It's a lesser of 2 evils for them. Another team wanting to go after Lamar better be willing to give up a lot in draft picks and guaranteed money and know that it costs them more than that. They will have to build the offense to take advantage of his abilities but without the capital in high drafts picks to do so. And, and finding enough cap space to fill in FA talent you're obviously not going to get from the draft right away because you gave all the good picks for Lamar. I'm sure I've missed some of the best parts of that idea but let's just stick with just these few positive points for now. Go!
  3. That is obvious. I can't wait to see the overreacting either way. It will either be, all your SB's belong to us or this organization is trash. It should be great entertainment for a few weeks at least.
  4. Such a tragedy to lose someone so young and over something so preventable. I pray for his family, especially his children.
  5. I flunked English. I kept looking up the teachers skirt during class and couldn't focus on what she was saying. She was hot and in the mid 70's girls skirts were really short. Thanks for the memories.
  6. They built their entire offense around Lamar. They drafted players to build a run heavy offense using Lamars skill sets. And yet they still struggle to win when it matters. If you trade the farm for Lamar you would have to build the team the same way the Ravens did, and then hope you will have better results than Jon Harbaugh could manage. Good luck with that.
  7. I'm sorry do I know you? And for the record, I do not give a single damn what you think of me. Have a nice day!
  8. I think everyone has made their points and honestly, none of them matter. It's Teppers team and he does as he damn well pleases with it. All we can do is sit back and watch how it all plays out. I will do as I've done every season since inception and that's to let all the pieces come together before I decide how much faith I have in the success for the upcoming season. I have not had any faith in this team or its owner's in a very long time. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
  9. It not like any of us can do anything about it anyway.
  10. I'm just here because I have no place else to go...and @TheSpecialJuangives a great happy ending.
  11. Well Tepper is going to stroke that one for you on Friday. Let's see if he can get it up.
  12. All of that may be true and probably is. I just think that if this DC was mentioned during the interviews by several candidates that you "knew" you were going to hire between, I think it would behoove you to at least interview that coordinator before someone else beats you to it. The coach would already have his DC on staff and ready to go. But that's just my thinking. Hell, they could just be throwing $hit at the wall for all we know.
  13. What would stop them from hiring a future coaching candidates chosen coordinators? If you want that coordinator you hire them. Especially if you have a candidate or candidates that dropped that coordinator as their DC if hired. If you know this ahead of time why let the competition sign those coordinators? It's a chess game and you have to be thinking several moves ahead.
  14. Wilks did enough to get a serious interview. That is all anyone wanted. Beyond that I will not say that he deserves the job outright. He will be weighed and measured against everyone else that seriously wants the position. It's ultimately Dave Teppers call and despite want any of us would like to see happen he alone will decide Wilks future here.
  15. If you want to give Payton an add incentive to coach your team wouldn't hiring his preferred DC before anyone else could be a good one?
  16. I asked the ex wife that just before she walked out the door.
  17. I think we have a pretty good idea by now what Tepper is all about. This would be consistent with everything he has attempted so far. Will probably end about the same, an unmitigated disaster.
