  1. Another win this season certainly will be a miracle. I mean look at the Saints shutting out the Bucs, miracles do happen. The Bucs will beat the brakes off us and then we turn around and steamroll the Saints. It could happen. I've seen stranger things my friend.
  2. He would be crazy not to consider taking that job. He would start out would a young promising qb on a rookie contract to build around. He now has freedom to get the best position player in the draft not qb. He could trade out a draft a butt load or players to throw at weak positions. Nah man, that's a great situation to pass on.
  3. I certainly don't. But I don't sign his paycheck. I'm also not priviy to the details of the "process" nor the "building a culture" I keep hearing about. Was this the expected outcome all along? Now I'm getting intrigued by this mysterious plan for what's next if he's still here. I mean what else do we have to keep our attention? I'm certainly not going to pay a dime to go to a game. I'll watch it on TV and troll around on here until this mysterious process finally unfolds or Tepper decides he's had enough.
  4. The team was fun to watch back then. They were tough as nails and fought to the end. I've watched the team evolve under different coaches and it's not always been fun to watch. Brother I've witnessed even damn game live and quite a few of them twice recorded. The only thing that can guarantee a chance at winning has always been and will always be being able to run the ball and having a great defense. A great qb is hard to find and when you do you better hang onto them as long as you can. Also don't count on said qb to last forever, that's why it's so important to be able to run the ball. Build a stable of good QB's and don't pay runningbacks big money. But many have tried and many have and will fail at it.
  5. The only way they could go winless is if PJ is starting every game. Even he could probably pull off 2 wins with this current team. They are bad but not that bad.
  6. Nah they will win a few games and draft in the top ten as usual.
  7. It was the funniest thing. That bear established itself that day.
  8. I think he's committed, just like Rhule. He strikes me as the type that considers every variable effecting the situation and chooses which of many that will result in the outcome we are seeing. Were they known and predictable to Tepper? Did he have them as acceptable in the grand scheme of things? I guess we will know soon enough.
  9. I was considering this awhile back but didn't want to ruffle the Jimmy's around here. You know how they get attached to players. I doubt they can afford to tie up more cap on skill players with the current configuration of the offense It's time to put more investment in the oline one way or the other. And there's the QB conundrum thing to sort out with even more investment beyond what is already tied up.
  10. Imagine the look on the person's face when they handed them his name and told them to stitch a name patch for his jersey. I guarantee they said "you sure you spelled it right".
  11. I honestly don't think it's about Cam. It's about proving he made the right choice picking up Sam. As silly as that may be to the rest of us it's all he really has to save his job. Sam has to play the best game or games of his life to save them both really. Cam will be thrown out there a few time in hopes of calming the fans. He's getting desperate.
  12. Cam will be in the Hall. The lack of a SB victory on his resume doesn't help but the records he's broken alone will get him in. The only thing that is in question is when.
  13. I think it will be his only option if he wants to stay. It just depends on Teppers ability to sit through the inevitable painful to watch season. Tepper could also let Rhule dance with the one that brought him so to speak and give him one last shot with his people and can them all when the dust settles. Or he could just flush these turds and start over with someone more competent than Marty Hurny advising him. That would be my choice.
  14. It was. It will always be because the odds of success greatly demise as the level of competition increases.
  15. I knew it, but it doesn't insure either will be here next season. The odds are not in their favor, well a tad bit better for Sam than Matt. And that's only because his contract is a bit harder to swallow. They could decide to just cut him and eat the cap hit. Who know?
  16. The defense is not talented enough nor deep enough to compensate for a bad offense that continually puts them in bad situations.
  17. Are we supposed to believe him now or call it just another lie? Asking for a friend. I surely wouldn't classify it that way. Trending toward serviceable at best, until it got figured out.
  18. So now they are faking injury reports? Ugh, you might want to check with the player first dumbass. What the hell is going on in BOA?
  19. What happened to the longsnapper they drafted? How many games are left?
  20. There is no way this team wins another game. Both teams we face have an incentive to play to win. This team cannot beat the Hill lead Saints and the Bucs are trying for the number 1 seed. Unless they have that locked down by our second meeting we have not shot. So there that.
