Maybe our idiotic owner has learned more about hiring a head coach this time around. No more 7 year deals please. Just because he made the right move finally doesn’t mean he should be congratulated. It should have happened at the end of last season. He’s now wasted another year and the team has wasted more money on another useless QB who isn’t even a good stopgap. This next hire is extremely important to determining if Tepper is a complete trash owner or not. The results so far are not good.

Just another shitty decision. I think it’s intentional because he wants to get into a stadium funding battle soon and eventually wants to relocate the team. There’s no way a billionaire is this stupid. Anyone heard anything else about when we are getting a new practice facility. They should have no problem with us but it’s a little early to say that. It’s 4 games into the season. Our defense looked really stout through 3 games last year.

I keep hearing this and he keeps showing up on Monday morning after embarrassing losses. There was no logoical reason not to fire him after last season. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Other teams are not coached by Matt Rhule and can survive a hamstring injury to a marginal receiver.

Does anyone remember that one brief moment in his ownership that we had a legit winning record and he couldn’t find a camera that he didn’t like? Now you couldn’t find the mother fuger if your life depended on it.

Yep, 5 straight losing seasons all under the same ownership and 3 straight seasons under the same coach. Definitely not a systemic problem, it’s just the players not executing.

Four draft picks (including a 2nd and 3rd), and our best receiving TE in 4 years, for one very marginal starter and two backup QBs. Yuck.

Just punch them in the balls every play. Great protection strategy. How about a less predictable offense? Every damn play in this shitty playbook looks like a 3 step drop and a quick out. It’s like a kid playing madden just goes with the same play over and over again.

Tepper and most billionaires in general make a living out of getting out of bad business deals without paying for them. I would suspect there’s some element of that at play here. He’s waiting for Rhule to land a college job so he doesn’t have to pay his buyout. Idiotic contract but he doesn’t want to live with the consequences. Can’t run an NFL team like it’s Appaloosa.

If we get any points it’s most likely due to short fields from tunrnovers.

Mcadoo has been absolutely horrible. Baker wasn’t this bad in Cleveland. But what did Tepper expect we could get when he kept a lame duck coach that no one respects around the league.

I always thought of archdale as south Main Street.

Our current strategy for building a roster mostly appears to be picking up unwanted players from other teams and hoping they will play better here against the odds. This is what Gettleman used to do and when it failed it failed spectacularly. It only worked a time or two because we had drafted really well in the early 2010s and we basically stole Olsen from Chicago. Over time, Gettleman proved to be a horrible GM. Fitterer doesn’t seem all that different other than being more active in the trade market.

Damn I grew up in High Point and I have to get directions to archdale. Good reference there.

Derrick Brown and Jaycee Horn were bad picks considering all the other needs we had at the time. Ekwonu made more sense. But it’s hard for me to look at much that he’s done and be really impressed with any of it. Granted the coaching staff isn’t any good either but IMO it all needs to be blown up from the top down.

I started this thread after the giants game. Fitterer has gotten way too much of a free pass for the rosters he has put together and some of the awful trades/draft picks he’s made. His mid round picks have rivaled the Hurney drafts and the “value” on his trades has generally been poo. I suspect people are letting him skate because they can’t bear to think that we also need to replace the front office in addition to most of the coaching staff.

The Offense looks worse than it ever has with an NFL OC and O-line coach. That tells me where the blame lies.
