  1. They can't announce this because if the Panthers finish ahead of the Niners, then swapping picks for that round is not to the Panther advantage.
  2. Also a good outlet (safe throw, more than outlet) for a young QB. With Hurst and a stud TE, we could throw many looks at a Defense, causing them matchup problems.
  3. I think you have to look at the longer-term plan---I was basing this on this year's needs, but if you have a stud TE there at 39, I think you take him. Kincaid comes to mind.
  4. I think they will go defense for sure--edge or LB
  5. I do not know the status, but we just signed a G and I am not sure how injured both will be in August.
  6. They are cocky since they learned that their Daddy is probably going to the Jets. No longer are they Rodger's bitch. Instead, Goff will be assuming that role.
  7. Seems that the Panthers are using the SAT prep practice--the process of elimination. A. Stroud B. Young C. Levis D. Richardson
  8. better than shat--and who amongst can say we've never done that in public?
  9. My sentiments exactly---I could live with either--I just worry that time will reveal the best pick.
  10. Body language tells the truth.
  11. Since you are struggling to express your true feelings, perhaps you are trying to say, "Golly. Some of you did not like Fitterer. I am sure his peformance without the former coach has been enlightening and you now see the benefit of our GM's job performance." There--now it is clearly stated.
  12. The absence of Matt Rhule is palpable. [ Note Fitterer's face after turning away. ("WTF?" And who is the insta-fapper in the background? Hope he's gone too)
  13. Just slow it down there, El Diablo. No since getting all blistered before the weekend.
  14. I was the first to call this. Nah--just wanted to be "that guy."
  15. Strongly suggests that Chark's agent called us, not vica versa
  16. I hope we get the right Chark, and not the left Chark
  17. NEEDS 1. Quarterback 2. Edge 3. Linebacker 4. Cornerback (Nickel) 5. Offensive Tackle (swing)
  18. EXACTLY--I see them possibly moving up, but an edge rusher has to be on their radar.
  19. So happy it was a one year deal. I have a feeling Hardman's deal was what triggered this!!! I AM OFFICIALLY PUMPED! HERE IS MY CERTIFICATE FOR BEING PUMPED
  20. Fitterer said (when asked about Chinn) that Chinn would be used in the big nickel. Then he added that when in the nickel, they would move Horn to nickel. Maybe I am naive, but I do not like that at all. Taking Horn away from the outside WR and replacing him with the #3 CB (Henderson and or Taylor) is not cool. Draft or sign a nickel cb
  21. Awesome analysis. I detected some bias in that processing and vision were not elevated--this is based on productivity and experience---the assets Young has are not as visible. But I get the logic and I see them as equals right now--I think this is as good a job of measuring the immeasurable as I have seen. Thanks for the contribution.
  22. When I look at the smaller QBs in the NFL, I am not seeing a history of injuries that exceeds the larger QBs--the large QBs, the running QBs, etc. get hurt too. But Young is pretty slender for 5-10, so I dunno. Can he protect himself in the pocket? Yes, for the most part. Can we protect him? Yes. If we have an offense that gets rid of the ball quickly, which is what Reich tries to do, then his size is not as important as we are making it out to be--yes, he could get hurt, but so could Stroud. There is risk with either QB.
  23. He has always had bigger QBs and the results have been mixed. As a former QB, would he be more impressed with the size of the QB or the leadership and processing speed? I am asking--I dunno. I can say that if you spent time with Young, you have to like and admire the guy. Or did he walk out thinking, "There are middle school QBs bigger than Young?"
