BREAKING NEWS Deshaun Watson now willing to be traded to CAROLINA
MHS831 replied to Woot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Signing this asshat is accepting what he did--if you can do that, good for you. You probably suck as a person. -
Well, here's something different. Remember J.T. Ibe? I didn't.

But as a leader, you lose the locker room when leadership creates division. It may be life, but on a team, you bond, you don't divide. The football coach's job is not to emulate life or nature--it is to get 53+ focused on winning a ring as a unit...This was a publicized event (media) and that was not lost on Rhule. He made a mistake. It could have been handled many different ways--a leader understands the impact of decisions on the greater good. Seriously, if Chinn did the same thing the following day and was not disciplined the same way, do you think the team would say, "that's life?" I don't. -
If that dude was sitting in front of me with that hat on because he feels the need to get attention at my expense, I think I would set a match to it. But that's just me...

Here is the message Rhule sent--if you are a fringe player, I will make an example of you. I guarantee that Jeremy Chinn would still be on the team if he had been the person delivering a hit. Once you cross that bridge and act on something like that, you are simply setting the stage to become a hypocrite. Rhule is a paper tiger. -
I think Cross is going to be there regardless. The T from State may go earlier--but Cross is one of those guys that mockers fail to value and flies in under the radar--- I am not confident that we can take advantage of the #6 pick if we do not go OL---

I think they take Neal. Then there should be 2 pass rushers gone. So 4-5 might determine our fate.

Meet Reddick's replacement

Name something specific that would get you pumped for this season

But with the need for a new stadium, that could signal the start of the St Louis Panthers. -
Riot: Panthers to take a major swing at QB?
MHS831 replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
when they first were announced, how do you think the Buffalo "Bills" fans felt? The Packers (are we moving or gay?)? The Browns (Glad the owner was not named Bronkowski)? the Saints (dang that is a terrible football name)? Steelers (after mill workers). It does not matter. -
THAT 40 Time blows it for me. (I am sure you meant 4.57)

Post SR Bowl--Panthers trade back. https://catcrave.com/2022/02/07/carolina-panthers-7-round-2022-nfl-mock-draft-senior-bowl/ Sorry if this has already been shared--have not really seen it (or looked).

Willis has the skill set to start in the right system, but he has work to do. There could also be a sleeper--if you think you know better go back and check your comments about Jones last year. We have to try and trade back, even if we lose some draft capital-- I see a "talent cliff drop off" around 12, so a team with a later first and second rounder may want to move up for a top 10 talent. I would not mind a tackle like Raimann or Penning and it is possible that Cross could fall. Linderbaum could slip as well. We should go into this season with the idea that we will protect Darnold and see how much he improves. I still see us going hard after Watkins--and I see us being active in free agency by signing an inside OL or two.
-
His body language reeked of frustration last year--
-
There are 5 OTs I would consider in the first--2 at #6 and 3 if we trade back.
-
Hardy, Johnson, Rucker--the panthers have a lot of DEs that were role players until year 3. YGM is entering year 3. Luvu flashed at Reddick's spot. We may not even offer Reddick, knowing that we need cap room for OL, DL, and maybe 1 CB.
-
If we somehow trade back--I thnk he is in the 20s
-
That is an UUUUGLY uniform. At the SR bowl, Penning was slamming people in drills. He is a small school kid who knows the scouts are watching---I like it, and the first thing I think of is not potential penalties.

If we don't draft a T this year it would be like us not drafting a QB last year.

ESPN sim: Cam re-signs for 1 yr, Pickett #6
MHS831 replied to MechaZain's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we draft willis and sign Cam to compete with Darnold, then we will have 3 QBs who are nearly illiterate when it comes to reading a defense. -
They are not bitching about Rhule--they are bitching about people even discussing the remote chance that Rhule leaves for college. There is a difference. They do not understand the concept of a discussion board or the possibility that theories that are opposed to their own baseless opinions have enough validity to be discussed. So instead of going onto a thread about those who want to consider the possibility and trolling them for doing so--they should just refrain from clicking on the thread altogether. I am an educator (higher ed) and I am not the grammar police, but I can estimate the level of intelligence with some degree of accuracy by simply reading posts. We all can to a degree. It bothers me to see some half-baked moron calling others out with no supporting facts by mocking their intelligence. It is one of this board's great ironies.
-
I agree just getting on the people who decide that a thread is not worthy because it conflicts with their opinion, so they enter the thread and mock those who are contributing.
-
Question: If you are so certain about Rhule not going anywhere, why click on the thread instead of ignoring it?
-
Rumors are significant--sure, you may think Rhule is not going anywhere--and that is probably right--but nobody assigned you the duty of telling others what to think--and you clicked on the thread--so go figure things out.
