  1. Wasn't he the one that kept running to Tepper's office about Bryce and his footwork and everything? Or was that one of the other ones. For some reason I was thinking the ones that got fired mid-season were the ones going over Frank and they just canned them all together.
  2. 5/10 on Canales. 7/10 on Morgan. Need to see them both with a full offseason. Don't want to hear poo next season about defense if Morgan dumps a bunch of assets into it. Evero better do something with it or I'm going to blame Canales.
  3. People forget how terrible he was in Tampa. 3-13 10-6 (No Playoffs) 4-12 Then he went 4-7 as Atlanta's interim. My guess is they implode next season, especially now that they have the whole Penix/Cousins cap situation on their hands.
  4. Morris was their interim before but he was the Rams DC for a stint because they hired Smith instead.
  5. I almost fell out of my chair when I read Baalke was still there.
  6. Daboll is safe. Stefanski is safe (or so they say) Callahan should have been fired already but probably won't be. Wouldn't be surprised if Pierce gets fired, but I think he did well enough to save his job at the end of year. There are quite a few GMs that need fired, starting with Chris Ballard and Andrew Berry. If I had to rank the current HC openings it would be: 1) Patriots- Promising young QB; FO that knows how to win; probably more adaptable to move on from "Patriot Way" than people think. 2) Jaguars- Talent on roster; easy division; nice weather; but have to deal with Baalke and Khan. 3) Bears- Ryan Poles is overrated; Chicago is almost as bad as NYJ. 5) Saints- Culture refuses to move on from 15 years ago; cap issues; stubborn GM. 6) Jets- More dysfunctional FO than Carolina
  7. I would rather have Mykel Williams than Abdul Carter tbh.
  8. Canales first big mistake. Tying your reputation to historically the worst defense ever is a real gamble. Can't blame defense next season when you had the opportunity to do something about it. Looks like we are committing to the 3-4 though.
  9. Keep in mind the Lions have lost 9 starters on defense due to injury this season, and they are still doing this.
  10. Get some grass at BOA and i'll consider to consider it.
  11. I know, what a tragedy it would be if the Saints hired him.
  12. James Bettcher is the LBs coach in Cinci and is close with the Assistant Head Coach from their time in Arizona. He was the DC for Arians there before he retired and was expected to be Head Coach but the Cardinals hired Wilks the next year instead. Kacy Rodgers is in Tampa as the DL coach and knows most of the staff. Ken Norton Jr used to be the DC in Seattle when Dave and Dan Morgan were there, he is with the Commanders now. Joe Cullen is the DL coach in KC. Obviously knows Brandt and KC is Top 5 against the run. Sean Desai- No real connections other than a brief stint in Seattle with Dave but had a Top 10 defense in Philly before they let him go to hire Fangio. Is sitting on Harbaugh's staff in LA right now. Also a long shot, but Jack Del Rio was Dan Morgan's DC here in 2002 so maybe some connection there.
  13. I watched him drop Sam Robertson into coverage today. If you don't know who that is google it real fast. Also, Atlanta ran the same exact play to London twice before halftime. No adjustments made. No help for poor Shemar Bartholomew
  14. Alright, said I would update it- so here it is. Most points allowed in a season (1st) 2024 Panthers-534 1981 Colts-533 2020 Lions-519 2023 Commanders- 518 2008 Lions-517 2021 Jets-504 1966 Giants- 501 Most rushing yards allowed in a season (3rd) 1978 Bills- 3,228 1980 Saints-3,106 2022 Panthers-3,057 1978 Colts-3,010 1977 Chiefs-2,971 1981 Patriots-2,950 2022 Texans-2,894 1979 Packers- 2,885 1978 Seahawks-2,876 1976 Chiefs-2,861 1950 Colts- 2,857 Total yards allowed in a season (2nd) 2012 Saints- 7,042 2022 Panthers-6,877 1981 Colts- 6,793 2021 Jets-6,765 2015 Giants-6,725 Also, before we start the whole "17 game thing" keep in mind that there are a few from the 17 game era on here, and they were still worse.
  15. I can't find any proof that Evero is actually a good DC. I mean I keep hearing it from some people, but have yet to actually see proof of it anywhere.
  16. Oh definitely, but it won't cost 5m if that for your average journeyman QB. I mean Dalton makes less than that if I recall.
  17. I hope its been made already and the message just needs to be delivered.
  18. No, he needs more. This is the way.
  19. I wouldn't waste high draft capital on it. I'm as much of a Bryce skeptic as anyone but really you need one of the Free Agency guys for competition or insurance. Adding a rookie does nothing. If Bryce gets hurt or doesn't work out, you need somebody with some NFL experience. Besides, what "competition" will they be as rookie QB?
  20. I "kept up" with the Panthers from 95-98 but I was young and had other poo to do. 1999 was the first season I stayed glued to the TV. I will say we have had some interesting names over the years. I'm waiting for us to sign Will Clapp just to add to the pool.
  21. I don't think so. The team was complete ass and unmotivated all season. I watched 3 Pats games this year for betting purposes. They checked out after the first 1-2 series everytime.
  22. Add Evero when Dave throws his poo into Mint St.
