  1. Can extend Lewis and make that cap hit go down a good bit. Need to look at restructuring some of Brown, Horn, Moehrig, maybe Hunt.
  2. Our number for 2026 is 40,000,000. The 2025 is for this league year which we are carrying over. Yeah. There are a lot of ways to double that. Go to sport trac or over the cap and mess it with. Can restructure a few of our higher contracts into void years and convert to bonuses. Can also do the same when signing guys. Give them a bonus up front and spread it out. Trust me the Saints go into every season at like -80 million. I predict we will be in the 80-90 million range when Dan/Brandt are done.
  3. I hope he’s ready to watch some film with Dave and Brad
  4. I always assumed the 3-4 was Reich’s call because that’s what he ran in Indy and if I remember right, I don’t think we interviewed a DC from a 4-3 scheme
  5. He did but he didn’t dictate Rhule having that hybrid 3-3-5 with Snow. That was Snow’s system. I think we just run a 3-4 now because Frank did and he hired Evero who runs that system.
  6. I think wherever Mike McCarthy goes, Jonathan Cooley goes. Capers was McCarthys coordinator for 9 seasons. None of his other DCs ever really worked out except Quinn who is in Washington now. McCarthy can’t have Evero but he can get his understudy. That would still be a 3rd round pick this year
  7. lol watch him coach there like 15 years and win 2 super bowls and like 9 division titles.
  8. 1 step closer to hiring Raheem Morris as DC
  9. I think they can do it with salary minimum too. I wouldn’t but I think that’s all that’s required salary wise
  10. I watched Dan’s press conference. He said he wouldn’t be reckless but I was messing around on Sport Trac. We have 40,000,000 already without restructuring. Just a few restructures double that figure easily. I think he’s about to go on a spending spree. You can’t go backwards with Tepper. You can stay the same and be okay but I don’t think you can go back to 4-5 wins this year and expect not to get fired or have a seat that’s burning your ass.
  11. Trubisky is available. Bills fans seem to think he will leave. Wouldn’t mind having him as a back up option. Looks like Drew Allan’s injury pushed him all the way down to rounds 5-7 which would be a hell of a bargain to develop.
  12. 3rd this year and next. If Cooley gets hired as DC somewhere just a 3rd this year
  13. Well you know how long it took Jay-Z right
  14. They like keeping HCs for a long time too. I would be surprised if they hired anyone over 50
  15. They should hire Evero. A) Defensive Guy B) Longevity C) There isn’t a C but you get the point
  16. I would just like to have a back up that’s not 40 years old. Somebody that has a reason to play/practice hard and drive atleast a little competition. Also peace of mind if we lost Bryce for an extended period of time.
  17. I’m 70/30 on it leaning towards that as well. The 30% is the times I’ve seen him have chances down the field and he just checks down. Could also be confidence in the receivers he had in those scenarios as well.
  18. Interestingly enough. Evero was a DB for UC Davis and an UDFA. He was signed by one team before being released before the season.
  19. Yeah but Thomas Davis was a first round talent, who could have easily went Top 10 or even Top 5. He was crazy athletic. That happening after those injuries is like a 1 in a 1000 chance, I can’t imagine what Davis would have been without those knee injuries
  20. He’s out here fussing with fans. I think he may be as retarded as XL. Calling out your line for yards before contact when your yards after contact is nearly the worst in the league.
  21. If we don’t get rid of Evero this cycle, which is likely he stays. I wonder about Jonathan Cooley. He seems to be who Evero is developing, Wash has already been there and done that. Wonder if a team snags up Cooley as DC. I personally wouldn’t mind the 3rd rounder
