The Bucs fan base has become delusional the last 5 or so years. I read for an hour this morning on message boards and X how they think they are going to A) Fire Bowles and ride an interim into the playoffs B) Fire Bowles at the end of the season and get Mike Tomlin C) Get Harbaugh from Baltimore and many other crazy theories that involve trading Baker for future HoF QBs at little to no cost. Living in the basement for 18 years and then having sudden success with Arians and Brady really messed with their psyche.

I feel like the real test will be the Saints. Beat the Saints and it doesn’t matter which time we beat the Bucs, we just have to beat them once. However, I feel like Sunday will be close but if we can win we will blow past TB.

Panther assistants tagged as potential future head coach

Todd Wash as DC…hmmm -
If we get into a situation where the Seattle game doesn’t matter, would Canales rest starters for the away Tampa game? There will be a lot more clarity after the game tonight and our game Sunday to these scenarios, but there is a chance where the Seattle game means nothing.

This is good for us considering the Falcons are like 3rd in sacks this season. I still say the easier path is for Atlanta to win tomorrow and us to win the next two games.

Anybody sense something off about this?

I’m going to today. I’ve been off work too long combined with too much time invested in this season. -
I’m just waiting to see how long Baker holds on.

It’s the Tepper’s being asked about their thoughts on the success this season and it leads to Tepper giving a response (what I interpret as a very awkward and nervous response while Nicole smiles uncomfortably) about how “we will see” how things go and he likes what Morgan, Canales, and Tilis are building. I also think I may be super bored because I used a bunch of built up PTO to take Thanksgiving- New Years off and it may be getting to me. -

Also, I’m not saying this out of negativity but rather that I feel like he was uncomfortable talking about it. Idk, seems like his personality has changed a bit. -
Maybe it’s just me, but I picked up weird vibes from this. https://x.com/josephperson/status/1998519225632346593?s=46

Is this the best timed ‘bye’ we’ve ever had
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not back yet, but Canales expects him to be before end of season -
Could be worse. The colts are bringing in Phillip Rivers this week to potentially be a back up.

so yea... the um Saints.... how do we beat them this time?

I do wonder how they would react if we just came out with our 4 wide set and spread them out like Atlanta. -
I think they will hire Arthur Smith.

I think Mays back this week is a big deal itself. -

Saints run D has kinda turned to ass since they played us. They allowed Baker to run for 40 something yards yesterday and Tampa to run for 180-and their run offense is horrible. I think you stick to the game plan against the rams/falcons. Run but if they start stacking the box get the ball downfield. -

I’ve prayed for days like this. Canales has them practicing on their 1st day back. -
Needs to be a run heavy game. They have allowed 121+ on the ground in the last 3 games including 180 to Tampa yesterday. If they do the whole crowd the box deal like they did against us, push the ball downfield. If we can do it to the Rams and Falcons we can do it to them.

Apparently wearing a thong makes you a better QB https://x.com/mlfootball/status/1997834727332663344?s=46

I agree here. Falcons won't lay down. Tampa SHOULD win. However, it is a short week and both teams need this game to be played different ways. Tampa needs to have time to scheme and keep this game fast paced, Atlanta needs this to be a physical heavy run slobberknocker which is more likely to happen with just 3 days. Keep in mind, Raheem should probably be fired tomorrow but won't be because it's a short week, he can save some grace and coach for his job Thursday. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be super aggressive on calls all night. I worry about the Saints as well. I really hope our week of rest to get healthy and realign focus outweighs the risk of us getting lazy again. Hopefully, the last time we played them was a wake up call and they come in motivated and pissed off to prove a point. However, the Saints are having fun shitting on everyone and I would not be surprised if it was a repeat. Somehow I feel us and the Bucs will both find a way to lose.

Evero has been doing some stuff where he lines him up at Edge. I really think he would be a decent run stopping edge (rotational) if he thinned up a bit and worked on his lateral movement.
-
I think it depends on how we respond this week. If the rest gave us an edge when everyone else is fatigued and we respond well, then yes. But we if come out playing like ass and unfocused-no.
