  1. It has been working out great for me recently. I am holding off this week though, because the Saints have been playing nearly as bad as us the last few weeks. We won't win but Saints might not cover the spread and there is no money to make on the Saints moneyline.
  2. I'm not against him until he gets another offseason with Morgan. Had to start his tenure "fixing Young", defense is historically bad. I need to see him with an QB (vet or rookie) that he actually wants, and whatever he and Morgan do to this defense this year.
  3. Apparently it looks like Plummer will be the back up, they don't think Andy will dress on Sunday per Newton. I wonder if we see Plummer by the 4th Q.
  4. It's hard for me to exclude the bias of what I would do but I think Morgan would trade back. Possibly like what the Cardinals did a couple of years ago. I don't think they would go out of the Top 8 but I think Morgan would sell. There is just so many holes on this terrible roster, and it's one of the oldest rosters in the league at that. Plus, I think the wound is still sore on rolling the dice for a QB so high. There is not a clear #1 QB in this draft at the moment. Everyone has a different #1 so he probably trades back and goes CB, DL, or WR.
  5. This was one of the worst possible match-ups for him to get his "redemption" game. High altitude, on the road, against the team with the 2nd most sacks and top 5 pass defense? This is going to be so bad. All eyes will be on him too since the media has been pushing to see him again. It's going to fall flat and he's going to lose a ton of value.
  6. Look at him. He has changed so much since the spring.
  7. No trade to gain players. Trade Diontae Johnson for a 4th/conditional 3rd. Trade Clowney for a 5th. Bryce will get traded for a 4th in March.
  8. Better lines went from Den -7.5 to Den -9.5 so fast.
  9. I imagine next offseason will be be heavy spending on the DL/Edge positions like last year was OL.
  10. This. While it makes the most sense, If McDaniel is the offensive guru everyone says and it seems, he can look at Bryce's tape and tell how bad he is. I can see Bryce going somewhere like Las Vegas, Tennessee, or Cleveland.
  11. Not really, I have missed watching maybe 5 games in the last 22 years. 4 were in 2016 because I had a job where I was traveling a lot and my flight always aligned perfectly with the game for some reason. Another was the Steelers game in 2010, I was sick and slept right through it. I always watch. I care some years more than others though. Now back in the 90s, of course I was younger. I kept up with the Panthers but I didn't really make it a point to watch them come hell or high water. I probably watched 60-70% of the games those years. At the start of the Fox era is where I really started committing no matter what.
  12. Denver is ranked 5th in total defense, 5th in pass defense, and 2nd in sacks. If you want to see how bad Bryce really is, this is the game.
  13. Only thing that worries me now, is now there will be some 5'11 Drew Brees generational QB in the next few years and we will draft the 6'6" Paxton Lynch/Brock Osweiler QB because we will bounce from one extreme to the other in Panther fashion.
  14. Oh I know. It just feels that way. Probably because the only times we have ever been decent was when we operated that way.
  15. I mean we went back to Hurney. Somebody wake up John Fox.
  16. I'm convinced he practices like a 1st ballot Hall of Famer and craps the bed on Sundays, severely confusing every HC he has ever had.
  17. Something to note.. Canales and Morgan are also having to work with personnel that aren't exactly best for the scheme. It takes a couple of offseasons to acquire the right personnel. The players are a mix of Rhule, Reich, Snow, Fitterer, Brady, and McAdoo players.
  18. I think the Raiders game was just exciting for him and then the licks started coming. Plus it's about what you expect from a 37 year old vet with an average career. Andy is perfect right now to win a game or two as a back up. He's definitely better than Bryce but he's probably not coming back next year, I wouldn't be shocked if he retires.
  19. I would say start Bryce but he actually threw for negative yardage today. Andy can at least function so the WRs (and Sanders) get experience. Start Plummer its a win-win. Tank crowd gets their pick, and we get to see if he can develop into anything more than a bag of chips.
  20. I think Dalton is getting tired. It was fun coming back after sitting so long, now reality is setting in and a rocking chair on a front porch seems nice. I'm all for throwing Plummer out there the rest of the season tbh.
  21. I'd like to see him for at least one more year before we throw the towel in on him. Rhule at least got that. I know it makes ZERO sense, but I swear if we just went back to 4-3 with a tough front 7 and ran the ball downhill, we would be decent again. I'm tired of all these crazy changes and "cutting edge" ideas. The Panthers are only good when we run the ball and have a good DL. Fox and Rivera figured it out, and Wilks was going the same path. I guess thats just who we are.
  22. I wish I could say I had confidence that we would actually use it on somebody worth the #3 pick. We'll probably draft a 4th round talent.
  23. Depends if you're going off win%, total wins, or what. In Tepper era: Rivera 12-16 Rhule 11-27 Wilks 6-6 Tabor 1-5 Canales 1-6 Reich 1-10 Fewell 0-4 The funny thing is that Tepper fired Ron at 5-7 which would be considered amazing by today's standards.
