IF he was QB1 on McAdoo's big board there's no reason to not turn the page and commit to developing Matt Corral and giving him the reps he needs. Sam shouldn't be getting those reps, it's beyond time to admit the mistakes and invest our time in the future NOT the Jets and our own past. Sam is what he is and has had plenty of reps and time and games in the NFL to prove himself. If you're looking for the Sam moment that will prove everybody wrong and Matt Rhule correct, it's never coming. Time to embrace the future and COMMIT to your new franchise QB. To heck with the college two QB system from last year. Corral is ready! Let's eat!

Do NOT mention Zach Wilson and Matt Corral in the same sentence. One played in the SEC against the best of the best thus fire branded. The other was not and it shows.

Sam is a backup, playing him will only define that trajectory he's already had four years to show the world. Yeah, you made another financial mistake with taking on the option. You can make Sam happy while acting like you didn't just sh*t away 19mill or you can turn the page and start the future NOW. At least you have a veteran backup.

Golden Corral needs to be a 90% thrower 10% runner. That way he he'll cut down the possibility of getting clocked in the open field. Seeing ghosts afterwards.

Need to roll with Golden Corral. As a Carson first supporter, Corral was my next most accurate top prospect. Rhule prefers scramblers and he was QB1 on McAdoo's board as he was last year until the Willis, Pickett hype as long as you don't **ssyfoot and let the man play it's a great pick. If he's OVERRHULED... Nobody in that room has more upside. Hand him the keys!

I can't agree with that. Cam came back and outclassed Sam by miles AND showed us just how good of a leader of men he is. Learn THAT. Sam's a cool guy. I get it.

I had two QBs in this draft as day one ready, Corral was one. I'm oddly excited about this. Putting him on the bench would be a kill joy. He and Strong can play now imo.

If Corral is the future let Sam go. It doesn't benefit either guy. The option was a mistake and no way Sam should be the one Matt should be looking at as an NFL professional. Clean the QB room and start fresh.

"Develope" sounds too much like "building" which is a BS excuse for not doing your job and being competitive MOST years instead the half decade of Appalosing. It's the NFL you build a team to win every off-season. If you're developing players to send off because you don't want to pay them, that's backwards too. It's professional football you play to win the game.

Ron Rivera got Cajun Cam, Cole Kelley. He should know how to coach him up.
