I drove thru there 3 weeks ago and I have never smelled anything more disgusting. It’s like someone puts your face into a bucket of poo and you can taste the air. Kraft opened that facility in one of the fastest growing areas in Charlotte metro and only like 2-3 miles from the Panthers future facility. That’s a huge dick move.

If you drove by Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Waxhaw, Indian Land, Ballantyne or Weddington in the last month or so any smell raw sewage/rotten eggs that’s because Robert Kraft purchased New Indy paper mill and converted it to containerboard manufacturer. People in the area are reporting respiratory/medical issues due to chemicals being dumped into the air. It’s right down the river from the Panthers new facility that is being built. EPA is investigating New Indy and let’s hope it will be resolved or else be prepared to wear gas masks to Panthers new state of the art facility. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article250915819.html

Dunno, I think the whole show was kind of disappointing. The plot was meh. Lots of politics and geared more for adults than kids.

American sports run on salary cap and profit sharing. They allocate x amount to expenses and it guarantees they will always make profit. European soccer teams are individual businesses that independently manage finances. In order for those teams to get big sponsorships and TV deals, they must bring in talent and win games.

That’s what I told to my wife too

Soccer is a business... salaries, costs, player prices keeps going up while payouts remain flat. Europe is about to experience hyper inflation in the next 3 years. But hey... tradition right? Live in the past, die in the past.
-
It’s not about rich owners. Go see CL payouts then compare it to average top player salary. Then look at average top player in crappy team like Zenit. People do not use analytics and go of what they know and what they know is limited information because they do not care to look at the numbers.
-
I think top teams misjudged the fans and how little they understand about the financial aspect of the game.

You got to realized that UEFA and FIFA allowed that to happen with their garbage financial fair play rule and allowing teams like Man City to use 3rd party companies to funnel fake sponsorship moneys. They were all getting bribed and getting a piece of that pie... Now these teams turn around and fug them hard. It’s actually pretty funny. UEFA and FIFA won’t do anything because FIFA Player Association is siding with the players. Tell me... why a team from Greece should make the same money in CL as Bayern and Real? Greek team roster is garbage and they will never win anything but they will be making out like the bandits just qualifying for CL... Fact... the world watches big clubs with superstars. When CL game is on between Braga and Zenit, no one gives a poo but they get the same money as Bayern and PSG game. One PSG player makes more a year than 50% of Zenit whole team payroll. See how financially biased and unfair it is to big teams? They asked UEFA/CL to change it but were told to deal with it... so they deal with it.

Seahawks LB Aldon Smith is wanted for second degree battery that allegedly occurred around New Orleans on April 17. That date was only 48 hours after Smith signed a one-year deal with Seattle. The alleged incident occurred at the French Press Coffee House in Chalmette, Louisiana, where Smith has relatives at. It's a developing story that could quickly lead to the Seahawks cutting ties with him prior to the draft. Him and Josh Gordon... I swear

No more top teams in Champions League or Europa league. Super League would be part of UEFA but bunch of little teams will get massive $$$ cuts and the money will go to big teams instead. Super teams basically say the current structure puts a bunch of shitty teams into competition. Let them duke it out and then put 5 best teams to complete with super teams.
-
I mean... I cannot blame big teams for wanting more money. Why Arsenal or Manchester United can’t make the CL but some team from Kazakhstan can? Then they split revenue 50/50 when super team payroll is 1000% higher... CL makes almost 100% of revenue from Super team... then takes 50% and give it to no name team. These small teams know they won’t win anything and their goal is to make CL to get paid but super teams are not allowed to do it for revenue. Soccer is not like NFL and not revenue sharing business model so transfer and other things directly impacted by revenue they make.
