Dan Morgan is a legend and I trust him

Derek Brown’s contract will be huge The decision, it seems to me, was Derek Brown’s value greater than Burns, particularly given that Burns turned down a reasonable contract. Brown over performed this year. Burns didn’t -
It seems they are getting players athletic enough for Coach’s schemes and young enough for long term contracts regardless of Young, the Panthers are trying to build a long term online i can’t believe Evero was down with this at the same time an offense that can’t score or sustain a drive does him no favors either the only one of the group let go that I mourn is Luvu. He made games worth watching but the contract to Derek Brown looms Derek Brown came into his own last year Derek Brown > Brian Burns

Hhhmmm legally, it’s a contract promise to pay…you really think they will let anyone just walk away …and not pay ? if that were so, all of us would and as I’m in my last year of contract, I’d be the first in line -

How did you dump them ? did you use one of the two websites to sell the psi outright ? -
Burns was offered $27 million a year and didnt want it he didnt want to be here and with the tepper poo show, hard to blame him

Frankie was my favorite player on the team my only favorite so Evero comes back loses Luvu and Burns and and and …and got nothing for him

Panthers sign Dolphins RG Robert Hunt

Yet 2.7 is what the coach says young will measured on if that doesn’t happen, young wont be around in 2025 but the line wont be a dumpster fire for the next QB win win -
I seem to recall Bozeman getting on Young a few times not that it’s unusual for centers and qbs to have issues and situations… perhaps that played into it a bit too just goes back to the panthers throwing players on the field if they were a scheme match or not …of course, that assumes they had a scheme

Nicole Tepper on the proudest moment since owning the team….
raleigh-panther replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
As a PSL Owner, I can tell you the reason the stadium was only half sold is because no one wanted to buy the others …on either side -
Not a surprise other than it should’ve been Ian

no offense You are very late to the party this topic has been discussed ad nauseam in the forum including your take The veteran huddlers are sick of the discussion Opinions vary no matter the takes, the Panthers are stuck with Minnie Mouse until the 2024 season ends hopefully the HC can make him serviceable….and serviceable is a pathetic goal for a number 1 pick Not his fault they chose him. They should have known better. The flags were there. They have only themselves to blame as I shared before, when Bill Parcells was asked about Young and the size outlier he said ‘he better walk on water’. I haven’t seen a lot of ‘water walking’.

Chris Mortensen has passed away

Me too seemed to be a really good guy -
Nicole will, in all likelihood, inherit the Panthers should Tepper depart this earth still married and the owner if she, in fact, did want Stroud, id say she is far smarter then the experts time will tell
-
I read KC is the player in that trade
-
Do you really believe Young could throw the ball far enough with enough velocity to keep up with his speed i dont
-
My issue isn’t what Stroud does or doesn’t do my issue was and is with the Panthers strategy or lack thereof… if no one (and remember, these are paid professionals…it’s their job) 1. knew enough to not realize the different talent levels and depth of 2024 qbs to 2023 and advise waiting 2. Was concerned that young was a non performer at the combine 3. Thought his physical limitations and setup was problematic for the NFL 4. That giving up a number 1 wide receiver for a rookie qb was not a smart move we can say hindsight is 20 20 but if those that actually played the game, wanted a player with all these issues, or didn’t, and let an owner cast the deciding vote, it is no wonder the franchise has been a dumpster fire all water over the dam now…for the next 3 years thank god, I pay my last season ticket invoice of the Tepper era this year

Facts many experts had Bryce as the best qb Bryce is short Bryce is not a physical specimen Bryce has issues Bryce was in a shitty situation none of it matters anymore he is here Might as well live with it and let it go the panthers, due to Impatience, have blown the past 4 years … in typical franchise fashion, instead of improving the roster, and waiting for the qb rich 2024 draft, they blew it…just as they blew the drafts before this one with no blueprint … they are bottom feeders until they stop throwing poo on a wall and hoping it sticks it’s really that simple. I believe young is not going to make it. Not his fault this organization did what it did Young was always a risk. But, it was the Panthers brain trust who took that risk and compounded it

Let's not go too crazy with OL upgrades
raleigh-panther replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
That’s absolutely true however the panthers have made it abundantly clear, that its all about bryce, all the time …unless free agency answers that need, all bryce, all the time
