The new rules on interviews during playoffs https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/28/nfl-tweaks-the-rules-for-interviewing-head-coaching-candidates/ -
You have no idea what he was or was not told to do you also have seemingly have no idea how incompetent Ben mcadoo is and how poor the receiver routes are and the Panthers receivers in general. the panthers have one receiver. One. Most decent teams at lest two plus a TE this is a poo show of a roster A total poo show both teams were not tryIng to win and avoid looking like it. the Saints were better at it than the Panthers…again

Would have no problem with this IF 1. A seasoned and experienced DC is hired that maps to the offensive philosophy yep I said the team’s offensive philosophy 2. He has a former HC as a mentor 3. If he insists on calling plays, there needs to be an experienced assistant HC on his offensive staff 4 the OL already here maps to the offensive philosophy for God’s sake be smart about this Tepper details man details that’s where the devil is we do not need another wasted three years as these guys learn what they should be. ie Rivera for one and Rhule for another

Does a bear poo in the woods ? if there is any validity to ‘history repeating’ or ‘past is prologue’, count on it.

Wilks Set This Team Back
raleigh-panther replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is the point many refuse to accept as regards to CMC trade, why didn’t they take the Rams offer for him, which would have resulted in better draft positioning in each rd is beyond me. Anyway, to me, it’s far more important at the GM Coach level. What is the Panthers philosophy going to be and who are the talent evaluators to help them get it. The coach / GM / scouts so much more important to future of this franchise -
Harbaugh to Carolina Makes Too Much Sense...
raleigh-panther replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
My feeling is if Fitterer stays, the HC will be Shane Waldron with Wilks as the dark horse Harbaugh will stay at Michigan just my thoughts -
Draft position all rds as of today
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think I’m with you Steve smith is right. This team needs ‘depth everywhere and fix it now vs coming to the realization in season’ in addition to obvious holes he should have added ‘quality’ in front of ‘depth’ I believe it was Gil Brandt who said ‘if there is a qb you want, you get him. Forget about draft position’. the Panthers will be somewhere between 6 and 9. Surely, of the 10 top qbs, there is someone they think is sure fire, go get him. If they don’t feel that way, fix this roster and move on to next year for that QB -
Can Sam Darnold play himself into becoming the 2023 starter?
raleigh-panther replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I rewatched the game. Darnold played really well …impressive at times getting that offense out of long third downs and a beautiful throw on 4th and 3 to Dj and Darnold moving his feet to drift away from the rush to get that 4th and 3 pass perfectly to DJ I used to believe he wasn’t salvageable I don’t believe that anymore and I wanted him gone he isn’t going to be Mahomes or Allen but he is growing into being a decent gave manager had that panthers defense not been so atrocious, the storyline on him today would be different not trying to upset anyone …just looking at his performance without passion
