Wake's guys went for the highlight dagger and it cost them.
-
The announcers also said this is the first sale out in six years for Wake.
-
They said this Hildreth kid on Wake's team has a broken wrist and he's playing his butt off.

This Wake and Duke game is pretty entertaining so far.

Had the shingles years ago on my lower neck just above my collar bone. That wasn't fun. Last year I started to get similar looking bumps in nearly the same spot. I used some benadryl cream on the place for a week or so and it went away, so I'm not sure if it was shingles again or not. Anyway, enjoy getting older!

Adam Gold with Ryan Wilson from CBS Sports

Talk about the draft, mostly Chicago Talk about what to do with Burns. Wilson thinks Burns is worth a first. Talk about Payton Wilson and where he might get drafted at. Ryan Wilson says Payton is a day 2 guy. Age and injury history will keep him from going round 1. Says Wilson will be thoroughly tested at the combine by a lot of doctors.

Getting Crunch Time for the Panthers and Brian Burns

I'll save people a watch based off Julian's past comments, he wants the team to pay Burns. He also won't argue against signing him except for maybe the cap hit. -
Getting Crunch Time for the Panthers and Brian Burns

Burns played scared and lowered his value. Montez Sweat was traded for a 2nd. Burns isn't worth more than that, especially with his down year. Burns was also never worth what the Rams offered, which shows how bad of a GM Fitt was. He should have taken that offer and giggled like a child thinking about how he just fleeced another team. GMs are going to wonder if Burns will slack off even more once he gets paid since he slacked off in his contract year and if he really wants to play football. -

Not to derail the thread, but they(Tepper and Fitt) got scared of the Young to Houston hype(smokescreen).

Getting Crunch Time for the Panthers and Brian Burns

Not going to get a first for him. We just saw better players at his position go for seconds and less. Trade him for whatever they can get for him and be done with it. -

Trade him for whatever they can get. It'll most likely be a second rounder at best, but it is what it is at this point. Fitt goofed big time by turning down the multiple pick offer last year. -
Morgan and Co will end up drafting for perceived offensive need instead of BPA.

I haven't seen that about the G League and nil. The G League has also been mostly a flop, so I can see why the NBA is looking into a way to keep guys in college. It'll reduce their costs. I dunno about Bacot or similar guys. Bacot isn't what the NBA is looking for in a modern center and he isn't physically dominating enough to get away with an old school game in today's NBA. I think he's the kind of guy that ends up playing overseas if he plays beyond college. He wouldn't have stayed at UNC all these years if his NBA prospects were better.

I know the odds are the Panthers draft a WR even if it's a reach with their first pick. It's also a shortsighted dumb move that would show nothing has changed.

The sad thing is that the one and done rule doesn't really help the NBA or the college game. The majority of the one and done guys end up riding the bench their first year or two in the NBA or playing in spurts in the G League. Staying in college for 3-4 years would serve both the schools, the NBA, and the players much more. But that's not going to happen.
-
A large part of the lack of interest in college ball is the lack of star players. Until the NBA changed their rules, guys stayed in college for 3 or 4 years. When the NBA allowed high school grads into the league, the big name players skipped college. Then the NBA realized that those kids couldn't compete with grown men for the most part, so they changed the rules to 1 and done in college. So, guys are doing that instead of staying in college unless they've been told they won't be drafted. The NBA really screwed college basketball.

That's not going to happen no matter how much some of the fans want. They'll most likely take a WR. Hopefully, they'll go Oline if they have any of them rated higher than the available receivers.
