Don't be scared. Embrace the idea of having actual good, meaningful rivalry games in a good division again.

Even CNN is saying the draft truly starts with #2 since it's widely known the Panthers are picking Young.

Joking aside, as others have mentioned, just build around whoever they pick and trust in the others already on the roster to be able backups.

I can overlook that and place blame where it's due and that's on his parents. What the heck were they thinking?

Bennett also played 5 or 6 years in college vs 3 for Young.

Cam did that a lot too, especially early in his career on short passes. Cam also did it a lot off his back foot. I guess it's something these guys develop before college and it's just never coached out of them. Hopefully, Frank and Co coach it out of Young unlike Ron and Co did with Cam.

Wasn't a pretty game for Young by any means. Auburn brought the heat a lot and Alabama's receivers dropped some catch-able passes. I also think at some point in the first quarter part of the video the announcers said Alabama hadn't had a positive rushing play. Young also showed quite a bit of hero ball that needs to be coached out of him. The sack at the top of the third quarter being perhaps the biggest example of when he should have just thrown the ball away. All that said, he did enough to win the game and that's ultimately what counts the most.

I remember seeing some reports about the S2 the last couple years and that some teams liked the new(er) test. But it didn't blow up in the news until Purdy and his success last fall. That of course, made the media go ham over the S2.

All he had to do was say something along the lines that tests aren't football and he would prove any doubters wrong when he plays in the fall. He could even had thrown in a line about still being on schedule to graduate with his degree whenever he decides to finish college.

Could always draft Washington and convert him. He's got the size.

Did someone let him know he's not in the NFL yet? Saying you're one of the smartest QBs in the NFL when you haven't even been drafted yet or currently a member of an NFL roster isn't a smart thing to say.

Replace this with Oline guys. The line needs depth and possibly starters, depending on recoveries, in the worst way.
