  1. The guy has averaged 30 targets and 18.75 catches for the last 4 years. If you add in the 36 catches he made his rookie year, he's averaged a mind boggling 22.2 catches a season. He's totally worth it and just needs more chances...
  2. In Thomas' career, he's had a made a whopping 111 catches for 999 yards and 4 TDs. So, maybe he can catch a cold after all, but not much more.
  3. A lot of this Stroud praise and obsession reminds me of the Corral hype from last year. I didn't see the hype and wanted Corral to play last year because he would either prove to be worth developing or would have tanked the season leading to the #1 pick. It was a win-win. That said, we've seen how that turned out.
  4. Sitting on the sidelines and it doesn't matter since he'll do drills at his pro day. If the NFL hadn't started televising the combine and making money off it, it probably would have been shelved years ago when a lot of top prospects stopped taking part. No, I don't. I've seen both make and miss throws in tight windows and to open receivers.
  5. Completion percentage does not equal accuracy. It just means his receivers caught more balls, and Harrison Jr was basically a cheat code. Unless the two agree to a public competition, who's the more accurate will be up for debate for quite a while.
  6. But not draft eligible guys. This guy has him by and inch or so and has a better completion percentage that Stroud. Size matters and if Reich and Co are really confident in their abilities and want to earn those checks, then they should take a true chance.
  7. Rumors do not equal the truth. Breer is a useful mouthpiece for certain people, but that doesn't mean everything he hears is true. The only way the truth about what the Cardinals wanted will come out is if another team moves up and to their pick and pays a similar price to what the Panthers paid for the Bears' pick.
  8. Richardson has a lot of potential. Then again, so do the other top 3 QBs. Well, maybe not Levis since he's older. A lot of people are so hung up on having Cam or Cam2.0, they're willing to latch onto any QB that has similar skills, size, and play style.
  9. Tepper and Co have been trying to game the system and prove their smarter than the rest of the league since he bought the team. It hasn't worked out yet and I highly doubt trading up for "control" will too.
  10. If that was the case, then the smart play would have been moving up to 3 or 5 since that would have been cheaper and let the team keep their #1 WR.
  11. Not attacking you and just want to point this out. If they traded for #1 just to move back, they're the dumbest people to ever run a sports franchise. Draft Day was a movie. Things like that don't happen in real life.
  12. Thomas was here before Rhule and started stretches for Olsen when he was out. Thomas has proven he's a JAG that can't catch a cold.
  13. You could have stopped right there. The Panthers have proven that since the team was formed.
  14. He's bigger, can run, threw for more yards, and has a higher completion percentage than Stroud. That's everything the huddle wants in its QB. What's the problem?
  15. Stop being such a Tremble is inconsistent and doesn't look like he'll ever be a great receiving option. Thomas is a vet that is nothing more than a JAG no matter who is QB. Thomas needs to be let go and Tremble should be a 3rd stringer at best.
  16. The superwild card out of nowhere pick that will destroy this fanbase,
  17. They might think between the coaches and whatever vets they bring in along with Bozeman, Moton, and Thomas(ha!), they'll have enough leadership for the offense.
  18. Joking aside, this move up to 1 will most likely bite them in the ass. The team is not a QB away from competing. The NFCS and soft schedule along with the decent job Wilks and Co did to stabilize the team has Tepper and Co fooled into thinking the time is now just like the 3-0 start did in 2021. Spoiler alert: It's not time to compete. The team has a lot of holes that need to be filled and not a lot of cap nor a skilled enough person managing it to do Saints style cap voodoo. Plus the defense will need a little retooling if they really do move to the 34 as a permanent thing. There's just not enough picks or cap to do all that needs to be done in one offseason. Now, does the team need a first round rookie QB? Yes! The rookie QB will give fans hope and buy the team time to keep building while not driving away more fans. Trading Moore and not having a security blanket TE actually helps buy the team time too, though I think they'll add guys at TE and WR. They probably won't be stars though. Giving fans hope also puts butts in seats and sells merchandise. And that will make the business side and Tepper happy. I imagine the business group has reports showing subpar merchandise, tickets, and concession sales for a few years now. There has been no Cam, TD, Smith, Luke, or Peppers here to drive those sales even if CMC was considered a star and the team has been losing. A bright, shiny, new rookie QB taken at the top of the first round can and should help reverse some of those trends business wise. How the rookie helps the W and L columns is to be determined.
  19. With the number 1 pick in the 2023 draft, the Carolina Panthers select
