  1. Everybody needs a bench that can play decent minutes, especially if a starter goes down. Maybe Davis doesn't trust the guys he has sitting.
  2. Bama and Auburn are trading blows like it's a boxing match. Good for Bacot. Leadership counts and I'm sure he wants to be in the tourney one more time. The announcers did say something about if Carolina lost today, they would be out.
  3. Nice trade, but there's no way in heck the Bears are going to sell the first pick that cheaply.
  4. Bama and Auburn are playing a good one on ESPN
  5. Nance is just tall. He really shouldn't be starting or getting all the minutes he gets.
  6. Did Roy come in and give the team a talk before this game? They're playing much better.
  7. The circle is almost complete. What's Walls, Beuerlein , and Collins doing these days?
  8. Yeah. In the interview he repeats the small market tropes: must build through the draft, keep draft capital, make savvy trades, keep cap flexibility, and maybe one day the Hornets will be able to land a big fish free agent.
  9. The Packers and Texans wanted to trade for 9, but they didn't offer much. So, I took Richardson. Downs slipped to 39 and it made sense to grab a good playmaker there. Kincaid gives the Panthers a pass catching TE. Warren gives some much needed Oline depth. The defensive guys were selected with the idea of the Panthers needing to add some pieces to switch to fully to the 34. Wooden and Morris can play inside or out, so should make decent 34 ends. Smith is the nose tackle while Orji is LB depth.
  10. Straight up? Absolutely and laugh my head off about fleecing the bears. Burns and #9? Yeah, but I wouldn't be as happy about it. Burns and say a second and third or two seconds? Yes, and how happy I would be would depend on the picks involved.
  11. It's already being reported that Reggie and the Hornets both want to buyout his contract. So, yeah, he's going to go to a contender in a few days.
  12. Instead of trading McDaniels, they should have traded Washington instead. McDaniels would have been cheaper to re-sign and plays better most games.
  13. Those picks will get sold for cash so MJ can gamble with it.
  14. The top QBs went before pick 8 this mock, so I went defense with the first two picks before taking Hooker with the second round two pick before focusing on offense for the rest of the draft until the seventh round. I don't recall seeing the guy play, but Bumper Pool is just too cool of a name to pass up.
  15. It was one game where Stroud stepped up his play. His Oline kept him upright for the most part and he did a good job for the most part of stepping up into the pocket or making a throw when Georgia was able to get in his face, though there were a few times he got rattled. Stroud won't have a super dominate Oline in the NFL because no team does. There's too much talent in opposing rushers for that. But again, it's just one game. Look at how many guys had one great game and then faded away. That one game could be the only time he plays that well ever. Then again, it could have been the start of him turning the corner and living up to his potential. Can he play that well week in and week out is the question. I don't think one game is enough to know for sure.
  16. I like Richardson's potential, but passing up Young for him would be a mistake. And that's not even counting whatever it would cost to move up that far in the draft.
  17. I know there were a lot of folks high on Stroud before the Georgia game, but a lot more jumped on the bandwagon after it.
  18. Tell that to all the guys that jumped on the Stroud bandwagon after the Georgia game.
  19. Love was a garbage time hero hitting those 3s late.
  20. Davis gave some fans some hope only to miss the 3. Appleby did a great job of running around to kill some clock. Love hits a huge 3 for UNC.
