    Kenny Pickett effect. When a player starts to slide or simulates a slide the ball is considered down at that spot. It's immediately done now because of that fake slide. I'm sure it will be changed after this game too.

    Yea. As soon as they slide in college it's a dead ball and the play is over.

    Am I in a twilight zone episode? UNC defense smacked SC around, Duke is beating Clemson by 14 in the 4th quarter...and Colorado beat TCU. God I love college football.

    I've made up my mind, this is definitely bad for the ACC. Even worse for Clemson and worse yet for the Clemson- FSU game.

    If Duke wins this, I dunno if good or bad for the ACC. definitely bad for Clemson just from normal fan perspective and media wise after them being one of the three teams wanting to leave asap

    I wasn't thinking Duke was bad, I knew they did pretty well last year but haven't been able to watch much and was wondering. Thanks to everyone who replied.

    The article mentions it somewhat that the Panthers offered 24m and he turned it down. That would put him top 5 in edge money right now on aav. He is asking for at least Garret money which is 28m aav.

    He used Bosa as an example. Bosa is apparently asking for 34-35 a season. My expectation is that new high level edge player contracts will be around 35m a season in 2 years. Making Burns at 28m a steal if he plays the way I think he will in the new defense.

    It's in this threads article that he's asking for Nick Bosa money. In June he said he wanted to be one of the highest paid edge players in the NFL.

    Because he is asking to be paid like a top edge rusher and word is that he wants 28-30m a season.

    Quite a lot, might be part of the holdup. But tons of contracts have ltbe and nltbe incentives in them. You can also do option bonus as part of an Escalating contract.

    Oh they won't pay 30m, he'll get something around 25-27m a season and have a high guarantee amount above what Garret and Watt got.
