  1. Probably the same way we didnt stop it with brown and jones last year.
  2. None of these fa guards are even close to being as good as thuney and the chiefs are still paying him 17mill
  3. Trying to think of the last great day 1 fa signing that changed a team.. drawing a blank.
  4. Poo'd just because of "Junkie Rhule" pic that ruined my morning. Good post tho. I say that we leak intentionally. we didn't leak henderson trade or gilly trade, or darnold trade really.
  5. All Rhule used to talk about in-season were the betting odds and bring taht up to the players to see their reaction ... I wouldn't be surprised.
  6. I remember going to the team store and having no confidence in purchasing a CMC jersey with the expectation that I just couldn't see him on the team long term when it came time to put my own money on it. Got a Chinn jersey tho.
  7. Yea Jerry was actually smart about it being a league of parity. Just like the other owners, obviously proved by recent events, that know its time to tank when you need a rebuild Jerry let the team hit rockbottom then draft a QB at the top of the draft multiple times while here and got lucky with a couple FA's. Tepper tries to re-invent the wheel and let the other owners trick him into competing while rebuilding. I know they had to be laughing their asses off when they saw us pick up Teddy Bridgewater, then do the same stupid poo the next year with Darnold, instead with 5th-year options and draft picks.
  8. I know they say hindsight is 20/20 but it was so obvious in 2020 with a freakin covid year of all things that we should have just went in with Cam on his final year, he would have played cause thats who he is regardless of him asking for a longer deal. Or poo, cut Cam still and just go in with Will Grier. Tank the fug out of the season like all the other owners do in practice but claim they dont when its time to rebuild and draft one of the stud QB's in 2021, we would still have our 2nd Round pick this year and maybe even some O-line help since we would have had higher draft picks in the 2nd round in 2021 also. Nope made too much sense, lets shoot for 8-8 at best with Teddy Bridgewater, they lets eat his salary, dump him after a year and eat some more shitty players salary instead of a proper rebuild.
  9. Pretty decent write-up, I think something that is overlooked in general but even moreso here is Tackles for Loss. I remember Luke Kuechly mentioning it after he went to the scouting side in a podcast he did where it talks about the value of TFL being pretty approximate to a sack as it achieves the same outcome, loss of yards and a loss of down but that fans hadn't caught on. Haasan had 12 TFL's last season also helped alot.
  10. Draft just really doesn't break that way this year, there is just so much talent at the top outside of QB that there will be some good players at those picks. Also, some team with invariably push that top tier talent down further by wasting an early pick on a QB every year. In this scenario I imagine Philly talking itself into Malik Willis as able to take them further than Jalen and love the fact they can get him at #6 and still get to take the first of their original picks
  11. Teams that make the playoffs rarely get chances at players in the top 6, much less still have another pick in that round a few picks later, you might be surprised what a team could talk itself into.
  12. Carolina Trades this years #6 overall 1st round pick and 4th round pick to Philly. Philly trades this years 16th Overall 1st Round Pick and 19th Overall 1st Round Pick. Now pick two of the follow: OT Trevor Penning C Tyler Linderbaum OG Kenyon Green QB Kenny Pickett QB Malik Willis QB Sam Howell ILB Devin Lloyd ILB Nakobe Dean DT Jordan Davis S Daxton Hill Me: Penning and Linderbaum Get Scherff in FA and kick Christensen inside. Now that might just be an o-line.
  13. Yooooo why is he not here to be interm
  14. I like him in the second round. Aka trade down with the Commies and take an LT first QB second.
  15. He is the Baker Mayfield of this draft while Malik Willis is the Josh Allen.
  16. Umm Cole Strange isnt a Center, he filled in at the Senior Bowl due to injury and looked terrible at C lol
  17. I think he is inferring trade down with Washington and still get a great Olineman and get Strong in the 2nd. Strong still has the physical traits where he could be something after a season or two in an NFL program. 1 quarter behind an awful offensive line doesn't make a player.
  18. How the fug is the man known for having brass balls in his office this petrified to talk to anyone about his fug up? At least give us a whiff of what you're smoking, maybe you just say over and over you only think its fair to a coach to give them three years and point to Cincinnati and how it took them three years but say something. How you this rich and powerful yet to afraid to talk football just because things didn't go your way for a season?
  19. Baylor RB looked amazing, That Michigan LT looked like the only good lineman on the entire field. Wasn't expecting Riddler to be the best looking QB but here we are. Malik has all the arm talent and mobility in the world but will def need some time with a QB coach and a bench if he is to ever develop into anything a la Trey Lance. Pickett looked like Pickett, another Andy Dolton/Chad Pennington type player which is right up Matt Rhules ally (sigh). Edit: Oh yea and Howell... nothing to say there, dude is 100% a bust.
  20. Malik has all-world work ethic by all reports.. what are you insinuating? Sam Darnold can't process poo and from all accounts DOESNT have all-world work ethic but here we are seeing him in season 5.
  21. What a rope from Malik edit: You give malik a year with a quality NFL QB Coach and you might have something special. Depends on protection.
  22. I'm excited to see Carson Strong, Malik Willis, and Sam Howell. Pickett had a decent first drive, as did Malik, these offensive lines however are atrocious so it might be hard to evaluate these young passers fully.
