  1. Rhule is definitely bad at clock management, but in this specific case, I disagree. We don't need the time out, we have plenty of time for a td, or the more likely fg attempt. We need to score while running as much time as possible off the clock.
  2. Need the first down here here. Even if we only kick the fg, can't let them have the ball back.
  3. Fwiw, I think the guy we faced last week, Brisset, is a better qb than Daniel Jones. Probably one of the reasons the defense looks a little better this week. The Giants are worse at qb and don't have a power rushing attack the way Cleveland does.
  4. Hate the penalty, but I have the feeling that the penalty saved us from turning the ball over at midfield. Just don't trust that we were going to pick that one up.
  5. I don't think it was a pass. But he does get a tackle for loss which in its impact to the game, is essentially the same thing.
  6. Defense is looking better today. Cleveland is more of an old school power rushing team, the Giants aren't built that way, and it shows. The turnovers and penalties by the offense and special teams are horrible.
  7. I may be open to having chicken for Lunch tomorrow. We will see how good the chicken looks before I make my decision.
  8. Apparently, they also throw the ball to the other team. Although I suppose we don't know if SD is a good team yet.
  9. Parades are boring, so no. Wouldn't go if they went 0-17, or 20-0.
  10. I would say that slow starts to a season are fairly normal. If you look at the results from this weekend, several Superbowl winning coaches (Mcvay and Bill B) had slow starts. In fact, might even call them horrible starts. The start doesn't concern me that much. But two seasons of ineptitude do. Its going to take a lot of wins before I have even a sliver of confidence that this staff can win consistently.
  11. Our offense was clicking in the 4th quarter. But that makes his decision to not go for the td, or at least another first down even worse.
  12. So many NFL games come down to the last two minutes. Those end game decisions are usually what make or break a coach. This past Sunday, our coach made bad decisions in the last two minutes, and it cost us the game.
  13. I agree, its just that we knew Icky vs Garret was problematic, and it took us a while to do anything about it. Of course, all this is a moot point if the coach was a little more aggressive at the end.
  14. Given that we ran the ball maybe four times the entire first half, I am not surprised they knew we wouldn't run. The ironic thing is, that when we did run, we actually had some success. Not a lot, but enough to maybe try to run it a little more.
  15. I am not really concerned about left tackle play in that game. A rookie going up against perhaps the best in the league was not going to work out well. But they needed to give the rookie some help. I guess they did eventually, but they waited to long. The pressure up the middle though is more concerning imo.
  16. I don't know, I thought releasing Cam and bringing in Bridgewater and no one else, made Rhule look like a Dud.
  17. Don't know about Dallas, but I think Denver was using the Matt Rhule end game playbook last night. Their clock management and decision making at the end was baffling. 64 yard fg vs allowing Wilson to try and pick up the first down? If you don't think he can make the first down, then why spend so much money to sign him?
  18. That Belichecky guy really doesn't know what he is doing. Won't be surprised if he gets fired halfway thru the season.
  19. Baker was better than Fields yesterday. Fortunately for Fields, Trey Lance was far worse than Cleveland's qb.
