  1. With the exception of a couple of bad throws by Love, the Packers have been abusing the Forty niners defense this half.
  2. In fairness, the refs were probably watching the field of play.
  3. Two bad throws by Purdy end up being dropped int's One bad throw by Love gets picked.
  4. I agree. Purdy may not be Brady, but he can definitely throw the deep ball. With Deebo, CMC, and Kittle, no reason not to throw a lot of screens and short passes.
  5. Wow, what a crazy play by the Pack. Long run, fumble, recovery. Eric Wilson was MVP on that play.
  6. Morgan is just like any other choice they might make. He might work out, he might not. Not a one of us really know.
  7. In fairness, a lot of the key players on those three in a row were picked by Hurney.
  8. Joe Gibbs from the 1980's. Won three superbowls with a collection of qb's that was average at best.
  9. Doesn't help that they are an afterthought in their hometown.
  10. Agreed, I have seen teams collapse, but I don't remember ever seeing a team going from dominant to getting blown out by teams at the bottom in half a season or less.
  11. So why on earth would you take the points off the board, only to throw a low percentage deep pass to the end zone. Its fourth and five, get the first down.
  12. It's really amazing how much Philly's offense has devolved over the last couple of months.
  13. Baker was horrible with us. He was ok with Cleveland and is decent with Tampa. Which is why I don't think we can judge Young based on this past season's results.
  14. How I would sell it is this. The perspective coach has one year to judge whether Bryce can be an effective NFL qb. If he can, then great. If not, then the new coach is very likely to have a high draft pick to grab someone new.
  15. Its extremely difficult for them to upgrade. Tua is an average to slightly above average NFL QB. To upgrade him means getting a elite QB and those are exceedingly rare. If they get rid of Tua and try to draft someone, there is a high probability they will get someone worse.
  16. Its not a good offense, no doubt. But I have seen it work for other teams better than it did for us, especially if you have a power back or some guys who are more of a threat with YAC. But for us, it was probably the worst Panthers offense I have ever seen.
  17. Personally, I don't give a crap about Passionate when talking about GM's. I want a guy who makes good choices, if he does it in a boring manner, I am ok with that.
  18. You might be right. Unfortunately, we didn't have the players to make that neutered offense remotely effective. It might have been nice to have a running back or a wr that could easily turn a 5 yard catch into 15-20 (CMC or DJ) or a rb that could power for 4-5 ypc on average (Foreman). But our most talented players from 2022 played for other teams this year.
  19. I disagree, the more you invest in a rookie player, the more you need to be careful and work him in gradually. But at this point, its irrelevant.
