I thought we would have already hired a DL coach by now. Any rumblings about what's going on?

It will be interesting to see who the Raiders go with as their coach. If they go in a new direction with a new coach there's some good coaches on that staff we could use. It could be some hope if Harbaugh is hired and Michigan miraculous looks at Rhule

Rhule says it is a process. I don't understand the process.

I have a bad feeling that Tepper is not going to fire Rhule at all. I just don't think he wants to make a change yet. He talked about having a model like Pittsburgh in having coaches for the long haul. The difference being Rhule isn't competent.

I could see us taking Lance or Fields if they are there. I want a LT but I wouldn't be upset with either Qb is the pick.

We have got to address the OL. Get Sewell or trade down and get Darrisaw.

Detroit is the prime spot for someone else to move up and draft a QB.

I still think that Darnold has potential and if we go this route he would be worth a shot.

Mond would be a mistake, he is way too inconsistent and yes he was mvp of the Senior Bowl but that was a stretch because of weak talent this year. If he is not a franchise QB and I don't think he is don't draft him, and no I'm not a scout. It's a franchise QB or don't draft a QB.

Let me start by saying that I have been against giving away draft capital. There are reasons to think otherwise. The salary cap is going to go up substantially in the next few years, we may not draft this high again, if we do it may be just like this year just outside the sweet spot, and patience is not on the side of the front office / fan base of having another poor year. Or not seeing any direction of improvement. So, with that said what to do. We have the cap space or can create space to get DT, CB, and a LG through free agency. Make sure to keep this year's 2nd round pick to get a LT.That's not filling all the spots needed but it's a start. Whoever our front office and coaches feel is the QB for us go get them by trading with the Jets. Yes, it's going to hurt but with the future salary cap going up, and we are going to be in good shape. We will be in position to use free agency and not to have to use the draft for our base. And no I'm not saying to get back in cap hell. I think it is time to do something out of the ordinary because things are changing and if we don't address the QB position sooner rather than later we are going to be left in mediocrity.
