  1. I hope XL has a long career first and foremost. Secondly, I hope it’s with the Panthers. Dude is chill and country. No facade. Just him. I love it.
  2. I’ve been married 25 years and when in a disagreement, she can sequentially pull poo out over that period like it happened yesterday. Respectfully agree to disagree but closure is a myth IMO.
  3. Seems like a great teammate. Some sportsmanship in ribbing Bell about the INT also. He seems to be a good dude
  4. On the bright side, I'm tied with Bryce for passing TDs this season. Not bragging or anything like that. Just sharing to spread my optimism.
  5. I see this point, however if you are a 4-5 win team in cap hell, devoid of talent and can get a 2nd for the 1 year rental u got for a 6th I think you consider it. Its gonna he hard to resign him in the off season.
  6. I figured about the same number of games and thought Canales would let him linger for Tepper show purposes. Clad he threw in the towel early on the QB whisperer thing. Hard to fix broken.
  7. I agree with and pie the sentiment but I thought Tepper was the reason behind drafting BY.
  8. When I read the thread I was feeling kinda bad (not really) thinking I was the only person who didn’t know who Thomas Incoom was.
  9. Sam and Baker already had some monikers coming in so the meh play added to the narrative. Plus they were both bad on the same team and neither could overcome the offensive dysfunction. Contrast that with Bryce looking terrible and Andy balling out with the same team.
  10. Up until two weeks ago he spent a year being a backup to BY. There are reasons he wound up there. Putting that aside, so far he has looked damn good for us.
  11. Anxious to see Brooks added to that foundation. That’s another reason to be intrigued.
  12. This is a bad team that is lacking a lot of talent particularly on defense. But the offense with Dalton is competitive, compelling and fun to watch. Two weeks ago we had no heartbeat. This week and last week I actually enjoyed watching Panther football. Don’t like losing and don’t like moral victories but we can see the warts, evaluate players and scheme then prioritize what to fix.
  13. Hardware talks really loud though and I’m a Rivers fan.
  14. It definitely speaks to Hunter’s talent but if the two way player angle hypes folks they must remember that they are likely only getting half the player. I doubt the team that drafts him is gonna engage in that.
  15. I guess it depends on your compass. If u go WWSSD (what would Steve Smith do) then throwing a drink on a fan is a very conservative response. still not very much owneresque but in the grand scheme of messes Tepper has created this is way down the list.
  16. Dalton is giving me Delhomme vibes right now in terms of who he is at this point in time. He’s a journeyman QB with the tools that was in a backup role and elevated to starting. He’s a gunslinger playing with house money and knows how to get it done. Not saying he is not flawed but that attitude can carry a team. Dont know if we win or lose or if Andy can repeat last week but the team is on the way to having an identity which has been missing for some time.
  17. Entire line was dysfunctional last year but it was hard to believe that Ickey had regressed so much. No way to argue that hunch as it was in direct conflict to game play. Glad to see him and the entire line looking good so far.
  18. Could lose this weekend. I just dont know how long the honeymoon will last. I do think if the team just looks competitive and competent he is an upgrade. Not big on moral victories but Dalton behind center is a step in the right direction in my opinion.
  19. I'm not ready to go there just yet but it brings me much happiness to see a post like this on the board. I think this is fair and may create new schemes as a result. I still think Andy is a better alternative than BY though as the 18 games of film on him suggests his playbook is limited to mostly checkdowns of 5 yards or less. Atleast for Andy they need to prepare and we can make in game adjustments.
  20. Hoping this is the case as it was a promising first outing for him. Internally I consider yesterday as his first game as a professional. Not judging him on the previous two weeks.
  21. I think the narrative this year shifted IMO when he was given weapons and protection so the excuses are gone.
