Yes we might lose nothing shocking there but whining and being pessimistic prior to a series starting yeah lol. They deserved it last year completely underperformed and got clocked. I didnt expect anything this year so WIN or LOSE its a successful year.... Last year was an all in year and we bombed. That said I like our chances this year the canes will come to play against Florida i promise you that, referencing two years ago when Martinook was our leading playoff scorer and Thackuk was playing out of his mind and them having Gudas knocking our already walking wounded out is yesterday's news. I think every game of this series will be tight.... we have the size this year that we simply didnt have then.... Hopefully it makes a difference!

Watching the Panthers it just reminds me they play the exact same brand of hockey that we do..... I like our chances this year have a heavier line up a productive svechnikov hotter goalie.

Nah you are just haven't watched all of the playoffs.... The past two years hes been .935% and less than two gaa.... Not so this year And im referring the playoffs were hes currently sitting at .895 % and over 3 gaa They have also been getting stone walled by Woll and the Leafs d recently... But again gotta beat the best.

Hes got 2 high danger saves but its been one period. It's been the low/mid danger stuff hes been giving up this year.

The Panthers and Canes play the same style of hockey.... It comes down go goal tending and Freddie has has been better than Bob this playoffs if that continued I like our chances.

Florida has had more trouble scoring this year than years past.... (heck we scored 20 more goals) Bob also hasn't been nearly as good. I think we can take either of them.... Toronto in 4 or 5 imo And Florida in 6 or 7

I know This team may not be as "talented" as the past two years, but i have to say its definitely built to win playoff games the size and toughness we've added who also happen to be guys who have recently lifted the cup makes a difference, I'm not going to root for either team tonight, while I think we would dispatch Toronto easier, im stating to get a team of destiny feeling for our squad...... If its Florida we have a score to settle and beating the Champs would have the guys amped for the finals.... And lets be honest we have a TON of young talent soon to be in the NHL and 30+ million in cap space. Even if we dont win it all this year this year HAS been a success many thought we would be fighting for a playoff bid this year not making quick work of two divisional opponents in the first two rounds.

We know, lol I dont care who wins. I just want the series to go 7. Canes are 3-2 on the road this post season. Leafs might have home ice but I'm probably not alone in thinking we handle them. Florida will be a war
