  1. Alright, point taken, it doesn't help. You have consistently made definitive statements that are decidedly negative however. Legette has really shown better route route running than TMJ or Mingo. He simply needs to work on his hands.
  2. Caleb will be fine with the right coaching in my opinion. Thomas Brown ain't it. He'll never reach his potential being handcuffed. The young man is talented, but he holds on to the ball entirely too long. He's got to learn that the NFL is a different animal.
  3. Which is ironic because it's mainly his hands and jumping at the catch point, sometimes unnecessarily, that's letting him down a little bit. He's not great at route running, but the graph really shows that he's middle of the pack. He's actually running better routes than people thought that he could. It is my thought that the coaches need to put him into better positions to succeed, he and Bryce need to focus on developing better chemistry, and Legette needs to get on the JUGS machine religiously.
  4. I see a little irony in there somewhere. Many were worried about Bryce not being tough enough for the NFL. Well, I think he's proven that he's one tough kid.
  5. Do serious and credible analysts base their opinions on a player's rookie year, much less a player at a so-called skill position? To each his own. Keep that same energy as X improves.
  6. You've simply always been a hater. Give the kid some slack. You're basing all of your opinions on an imperfect rookie year based on really nothing but your opinion. "Oh, he'll never be top seven..." I've seen something like, "I just don't think people here realize how bad he's been..." Come on, man, it's his rookie year.
  7. On that specific play, I think CJ thought that he had a window where Mixon could get in, and that would only work by getting the ball to Mixon quickly. Of course it didn't work. Though the analyst may have a broader point, I don't know, I don't know that this play is representative of that point.
  8. Philly Brown. Now I think CoKer has way more potential, but Coker appears to be a complementary piece. There's always the possibility he develops into more. It's his rookie season, and he will naturally improve. It would t shock me if he becomes a solid 2.
  9. Yes, he was better than what he's showing on film this season, and it's also why people shouldn't be giving up on him. We need to figure out what works and keep on doing it. This would hopefully allow X to get intimately comfortable working within a pro system. Then he would quite naturally react better in situations that go off script in the game. Moreover, he needs to stay on the JUGS machine and work on his hands, concentrating on catching away from his body.
  10. According to this graph, he is separating fine, it's high-pointing and catching the ball which seems to be the issue.
  11. Merry Christmas. Let the party begin!
  12. My wife is from Asheville. She lived in the Southside, which of course was basically destroyed by the city (bulldozed), and other near areas were re-gentrified. Eagle St was like the black main street, and the city demolished it and built Parking decks on top of it. That's Asheville for ya!
  13. Moissanite is fine for me. I love the fact that it has more fire. I'm willing to sacrifice that little bit of hardness for more fire. But, as you probably know, the preponderance of women, my wife included, ain't hearing that. They gotta have diamonds. In fact, my wife has a 10ct Moissanite right now, and she gets compliments on it all the time. It has never ever failed a diamond pen tester (regardless of the brand). I mean, it has NEVER ever tested as anything other than diamond. But, whenever she'd tell another woman that it was Moissanite, they'd be like, "Oh," and move on. I've seen it myself. Well, the picture is of a 10.81ct diamond certified and inscribed by the IGI. It is lab grown, but I still had to cough up several thousand for it. Yes, I know, the diamond industry is a racket, but it ain't going anywhere. But, to be honest, Moissanite has become a racket now also, just to a lesser degree. But as long as we have women, we're gonna have to play the game. I will say that though I know I've been snookered, I still feel as though I got a good deal inasmuch as these things go. It's better to go lab-grown, buy the stone and semi-mount separately and have the stone set locally.
  14. Speaking of bad financial investments. My wife will have a merry Christmas.
  15. Ahem... fug losing. If your brain-trust can't find impact players all throughout the first and second rounds, then why are the persons in their positions?
  16. How can I NOT watch Chiefs football? Come on, man. That's what you're supposed to do, be on top on the scoreboard in the end. Just because they're doing just enough doesn't really mean anything. Hate Andy for having an astute understanding of clock management and a knowing that his QB is simply going to pull it out when he gets the ball last and the game is on the line. I wholeheartedly agree that it's been uglier this year, with Pat throwing all the picks and such, but, if you think about it objectively, at the end of the day the Chiefs are doing what they've been doing for years (particularly in the playoffs). You don't go 14-1 by accident and not playing good football. You just don't. And, I saw them yesterday. For me, they're making perceptible and incremental improvements at exactly the right time. I don't know whether they beat Pittsburgh (who needs to win, if nothing else but for morale), but I still wouldn't actually bet against the Chiefs come playoff time. As an aside, if Rashee pulls off the miracle and comes back for the semifinals or a championship, that's the wrap!
  17. I don't understand why some are quick to trade Ickey. Only fans that don't understand our history at the position for the last decade, or just don't understand positional value due to availability (or simply luck) would be pushing a trade like that.
  18. The Chiefs aren't playing good football, but yet they keep beating teams in the end...and they're 14-1?
  19. Chuba did have oven mitts, but he was never JAG. I've said it for years. He was solid when we didn't have a line. I said, it would be nice to see what he can do behind a real line? Now we know. " JAG"and "Chuba" don't belong in the same sentence. You hear me?
  20. I agree some from some perspective about other teams, but it seems like AB's situation, alone, just breaks the scale. DJ's attitude---in my opinion---although it's closer to normal diva-ish behavior still leaves the other temperamental receivers in the dust. He's a far number two from AB, but he's still obviously the number two problem child. His own selfishness, apparently, is destroying any talent and potential that he could afford an NFL team. He's self-destructive. He's cutting his own career short, just as AB did, seemingly due to a bad attitude.
