  1. I mean, I hear you, but if Tet McMillan is on the board when we pick, there has to be a discussion. Same with Mason Graham even more so (especially if we get closer to pick 4).
  2. All that hype Piniero was getting about being the most accurate in history. It went to his head and not his leg.
  3. Not quite the same, but I get your point. Bryce hit Thielen in stride. I think Thielen is a better fit for Bryce's arm talent.
  4. If Bryce gets it down field far enough, like he was supposed to, then Legette makes the catch...maybe.
  5. I knew they were going to blame that on Legette which is nonsensical.
  6. No, I said you're right about "hating" him and being a Panthers fan. I also understand your skepticism. But as for me, I can't say just because it has been this way, means that it's going to continue being that way. There are different people at the helm making the decisions, and changes have been made in the scouting department, and not just on the pro side. We aren't a stagnant FO.
  7. I don't see it as a tracking issue, I see it as a hands issue and chemistry issue. He jumps for no reason at times even on shorter passes. Tracking was never an issue for Legette, and I don't believe that it is now. We'll see if your "deeply flawed" characterization of Legette---and it's not the first time that you've used the term---holds water through 2025. I say it's hands and chemistry. Work on those, and he'll be fine.
  8. Alright, point taken, it doesn't help. You have consistently made definitive statements that are decidedly negative however. Legette has really shown better route route running than TMJ or Mingo. He simply needs to work on his hands.
  9. Caleb will be fine with the right coaching in my opinion. Thomas Brown ain't it. He'll never reach his potential being handcuffed. The young man is talented, but he holds on to the ball entirely too long. He's got to learn that the NFL is a different animal.
  10. Which is ironic because it's mainly his hands and jumping at the catch point, sometimes unnecessarily, that's letting him down a little bit. He's not great at route running, but the graph really shows that he's middle of the pack. He's actually running better routes than people thought that he could. It is my thought that the coaches need to put him into better positions to succeed, he and Bryce need to focus on developing better chemistry, and Legette needs to get on the JUGS machine religiously.
  11. I see a little irony in there somewhere. Many were worried about Bryce not being tough enough for the NFL. Well, I think he's proven that he's one tough kid.
  12. Do serious and credible analysts base their opinions on a player's rookie year, much less a player at a so-called skill position? To each his own. Keep that same energy as X improves.
  13. You've simply always been a hater. Give the kid some slack. You're basing all of your opinions on an imperfect rookie year based on really nothing but your opinion. "Oh, he'll never be top seven..." I've seen something like, "I just don't think people here realize how bad he's been..." Come on, man, it's his rookie year.
  14. On that specific play, I think CJ thought that he had a window where Mixon could get in, and that would only work by getting the ball to Mixon quickly. Of course it didn't work. Though the analyst may have a broader point, I don't know, I don't know that this play is representative of that point.
  15. Philly Brown. Now I think CoKer has way more potential, but Coker appears to be a complementary piece. There's always the possibility he develops into more. It's his rookie season, and he will naturally improve. It would t shock me if he becomes a solid 2.
  16. Yes, he was better than what he's showing on film this season, and it's also why people shouldn't be giving up on him. We need to figure out what works and keep on doing it. This would hopefully allow X to get intimately comfortable working within a pro system. Then he would quite naturally react better in situations that go off script in the game. Moreover, he needs to stay on the JUGS machine and work on his hands, concentrating on catching away from his body.
  17. According to this graph, he is separating fine, it's high-pointing and catching the ball which seems to be the issue.
  18. Merry Christmas. Let the party begin!
  19. My wife is from Asheville. She lived in the Southside, which of course was basically destroyed by the city (bulldozed), and other near areas were re-gentrified. Eagle St was like the black main street, and the city demolished it and built Parking decks on top of it. That's Asheville for ya!
