  1. there is zero historical data to suggest that this current FO would make that bonehead of a decision. Unfortunately, there is a small sample set. So Im going to remain neutral on this whole thing bc I have no idea what they know..... but i do know they know more than me bc of what they have access to.
  2. Some FO is going to fall in love with a QB that they shouldnt..... I hope it wont be us.
  3. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2023-nfl-mock-draft-buccaneers-land-qb-to-replace-tom-brady-chargers-get-stud-te-for-justin-herbert/ Here it comes....

  5. I still like him. I just don’t want to use a top 5 pick on him. Anything after though… I’m game.
  6. Wow. Im embarrassed that I was supportive of this guy all through 2021 season. For him to point fingers like that and not be a man and accept responsibility is just unnacceptable. Good riddance.
  7. this cant be real.... did Hackett really say that to the media?
  8. If Sam Darnold goes the rest of the season and throw for over 65% 250 ypg and 10+ TDS with no INTs..... you have to keep him around. However, not at premium dollar.
  9. and a missed PAT and missed chip shot for the win
  10. with who though? They only have one other RB on the roster since they traded away Wilson and lost Elijah Mitchel for 6-8 weeks. They are in a tough spot in the backfield. They will mostr likely have to elevate a practice squad player. Going to be interesting to observe.
  11. haha that did come off negative didnt it? Mainly, just stating that you know someone is goin to use this as an excuse to why they didnt have a winnning season or win a super bowl.... or even why a team DID win a super bowl.
  12. How is it working out for the Steelers and Denver then? Steelers being the luckiest team in the NFL yet are a losing team and the bottom of the AFC North.
  13. Another useless stat to track and leverage for someone's agenda.
  14. I'd assume there are agents that are treating him like Nick Saban's treats his recruits. Free poo to get him to sign on. I can imagine firms like IMG are just throwing him free advice and services to navigate this whole thing in hopes that Lamar would hire them. There is no way he is truly doing this alone.
  15. It's okay, he deleted it. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35132616/harbaugh-lamar-jackson-met-character-tweet
  16. I get your perspective and I wont push back on that notion. HC still offer insights and mentorship, I just dont see them being the direct contributor to a QBs growth. There are more of a supporting factor but not the driver.
  17. CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREYRB, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Christian McCaffrey is day to day with "knee irritation." McCaffrey dealt with the knee issue last week, though it never forced him to leave the game. He totaled 15 touches while splitting work with Elijah Mitchell, who is now out for the remainder of the regular season with a knee injury. McCaffrey appears on track to play in Week 13, but his workload could be kept in check. If he does wind up splitting work, it will be worth Jordan Mason. The UDFA from Georgia Tech has yet to make an impact as a rookie, but he is in line for the No. 2 role now. Mason should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
  18. as he should... Franklin is a thumper with legs.
  19. If your point is "My point is if our coach hires a great OC, he will get plucked away from us" - then yeah no one will disagree with that. However, my original quote of your reply (We need a coach that can develop young QBs be it Corral or our rookie. ) was in reference to this myth that HC's directly develop QBs.. that is not how the NFL works.
