  1. don't forget the soccer coaches fired mid season. someone doesn't know what they are doing.
  2. not big on slaw, but chili mustard and onions make it good. add in some pimento cheese and it's a work of art.
  3. Not my money to burn. Do whatever you want tepper. Only thing we can be sure of 8s that you'll make a wrong decision followed by another and another and another....and it all started with your decision based on a foolish notion that you'd make a good professional sports team owner.
  4. No good employer should ever have so many bad hires. If an employer is constantly firing employees for performance issues, one of two things and only two things is going on. 1) you suck at hiring (you're to blame) or 2) you hire well enough, but you suck at managing your hires (again, you're to blame). Either way....you suck and you're to blame.
  5. Yeah it hasn't been hard to find better uses of that time. I don't feel bad at all doing other things whether with my family or just relaxing.
  6. Sorry, but that's a crappy hill to want to have a stand on. It's like voicing your opinion on what crap is best to step in, fresh cow or dog. Honestly I'm not interested in that debate.
  7. So we hired a jerk that sucked then a nice guy that sucked. We suck.
  8. And they blew up the fanbase in the process.
  9. You willing to put up with that for 3 more years? I guarantee you that if they figure their poo out and if I have even a glimpse of interest left I'll be able to enjoy it just fine without having to endure more of this suck. Hint.... watching them win in a few more years won't make up for time lost watching this poo. You'll never get this time back and, quite honestly, they're just not worth it.
  10. Lions and the phins seen the most interesting to me. Texans are a heart breaker because I was just so sure we were going to be in a better position and an overall better team and they got the right QB. It just hurts.
  11. I think Tepper cares....too much. So much that he gets involved in all the off-season poo. The problem is he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Hes just throwing poo at the wall but he thinks it's strategic.
  12. I mean who is interesting right now? Who is really building something? Just in case someone is looking for a team to follow that won't push their souls into a black hole of apathy.
  13. I don't plan on watching this team the rest of the year. Every moment I have watched I have regretted and soon fixed by quitting watching. Why bother. I'm just not invested emotionally in this team any more. It's a joke. I don't see us being good for a couple more years....not that I will care. I'm just done.
  14. I guess if whoever we get can turn chickenshit into chicken salad, we should keep him. We probably won't though. Tepper will find some way to fug it up again.
  15. What's the point of firing Reich? We're going to suck this year with no first round pick (fire Fitt for that even though it was teppers call) and just get ready to embrace the suck next year when we can earn a first again. Seriously, there's no good going to come this year or next. Just let the suck happen. In the past at least when we sucked we could hope in possibly next year. It's a new era, folks! Now we have to wait TWO years to have some hope. This is awesome. I guarantee you more than half the remaining fan base will be gone by then. Anyone that can sell their PSLs will have done so and those who are forced to hang on to them will get screwed by the teppers somehow.
  16. Song about the youth suicide problem within the indigenous population in Canada. The album he put out is sung almost entirely in his nearly dead ancestoral language (which is just a sad reality on its own...thanks colonialism). This song is in English, but it'sfrom the perspective of a parent who had lost their daughter to suicide. The trumpet solo at the end was a result of Dutcher asking the trumpeter how she would react to that kind of loss and express it through her play. A couple decades ago I was in a band with this phenomenal violinist who had an improvisational teacher at one point who taught her about trying to carry out conversations she wanted to have but had trouble having because of the shell she was in. She and I would practice together and we would try to have those conversations...of course it was me on bass who was nowhere near the talent she was/is, but she pushed me to express myself through my playing and I gave her a moment to deal with the things she wanted to sort out and it was incredibly powerful. I wish those had been recorded, but in the moment you fail to see just how unique and profound those moments really are. Anyways, that solo brought me back to that personally, but also is a beautiful example of how emotions, unhinged and unfiltered, can be expressed through art. Btw, Jeremy Dutcher's catalog is a great example of that as well. Truly gifted composer.
  17. We haven't seen it, but it's doubtful we'd be seeing much better from anyone else. I don't think anyone is doing well. Everyone is underperforming compared to what we believed (at least organizationally) they were capable of. I think it's becoming evident that Tepper might be the problem as a poo owner to work for. He'll pay well, but then he creates an environment that makes it damn near impossible to excel in.
  18. They have no singular identity or unified vision. They brought in people from diverse backgrounds, but no idea how to make it cohesive. It's a failed experiment. Sometimes these things take time to analyze and work out. Sometimes it's pretty damn obvious quickly. This is one of those instances where it only took a couple weeks to figure out this isn't going to work. The only thing we figured out later on in the season is it doesn't matter who is calling the plays. We don't have an identity schematically and we don't have coaches or personnel that can overcome that.... despite throwing tons of capital into both of those parts. Who is at fault? Ultimately the guy writing the checks. He has done nothing but make piss poor decisions and he shows no signs of improvement...only more ways to fug it all up.
  19. nobody was saying that reich isn't a problem. it's just becoming more and more evident that tepper is making his hiring decisions worse by micromanaging. he hires bad then tries to compensate by pushing/bulldozing them.
  20. he's yet to show that he isn't stupid. definitely trending towards the stupid range so far. i mean what has he done right? where has he had ANY success at running a pro team? and you definitely need to add into consideration what happened in rock hill with the failed facility down there. excuses can be made, but then it seems like that's all he's done consistently well is make excuses for failed attempts at running either team.
