  1. coleman can out muscle just about any DB. if you can't get much in the way of separation, be able to highpoint the ball and/or out muscle the DB. ideally you have someone who can get separation and who physically can get those contested catches. But being able to do either one consistently will help immensely. i'll take either. hopefully we can get one of each in this draft. a route/separation specialist and a big receiver who can get those contested catches. whatever they do, they just have to be reliable and maybe get some YAC.
  2. it's different for every other team because they aren't panthers. and panthers suck at everything they do.
  3. people love to complain about them because they aren't future HoFers.
  4. He's one of a group of maybe 10 I would love to pick up in the 2nd round. I'm not going to hate on it. He's exciting to watch. He could very well be the pick. Abd of course half would hate it. But half would hate every pick just because the panthers made it. Y'all are just that predictable.
  5. The more I watch Darius Robinson the more I like him. He's just plain powerful and disruptive and just fast and athletic enough to make him a lot for Olinemen to handle. Guy goes where he wants and there's not a lot you can do to stop him. Won't be a one trick pony like most edge guys either. Standing up or in 3 point stance, you can put him anywhere at any point and he'll dominate. And Van Pran... Agreed. I hope we can get him but I'm not sure we'll be able to and get the other help we need
  6. His situation was one of the worst ever.
  7. I've started getting this feeling that we're going to draft Leggette. Trying to warm myself up to this idea. He's one of the pretty good sized group that I wouldn't be upset at us getting in the 2nd round. Would help if the draft went like this ...
  8. Not only that, we'll beat Chicago and have a better record than them.
  9. kind of accomplished the same thing, except with some trades. 2 TEs. Thinking Theo Johnson for jump ball stuff in the end zone.
  10. he's usually not there. took me by surprise. i really hope we get him. we'd be lucky to get him or anyone good at that point.
  11. lemme tell you, i HATE that 240 pick. hate it. it's like a blister on my pinky toe.
  12. lol this looks familiar @Crixtala
  13. this is a special juan quality title. congrats. and to tepper...
  14. we might know already who we want and don't need to visit. if it's a big need that they want to address early, they might not want to tip their interest and give some other team a reason to jump ahead of us.
  15. wouldn't hate having him come back. should have kept him instead of Burns.
  16. honestly i don't know.... i was looking at us using the first 3 picks on WR, Edge, and OC. When you do that you're left with some not great choices at CB. Might have to roll with CB with the 2nd pick if we want to get a solid one. still likely to have some good options available to help out at EDGE. Getting Clowney would for sure help take some of the pressure off, but if we went with WR/CB/OC in the first three we might be able to get things filled out nicely. for example:
  17. yeah i'm not happy with it. can't imagine that they are settled on it as well. i'm thinking it's probably likely that one of the first 2 picks will be a center because i don't think there's much in the way of FA OCs out there and they are probably going to want someone who could at least compete for the starting job.
