  1. After seeing that spoiler... I'm going to need Season 6 to hurry its ass on up and answer some questions
  2. I'd like to see it. I'd love to trade for an established player, potentially an up and coming guy on the wrong team. But also wouldn't mind either trading up in the draft, or even down a few spots. Picks 8-15 or so are all on the same level to me. I'd just like to see something done. The roster is meh at best right now, with no real improvement in the near future unless they find an absolute gem. Kemba is who he is, great at times but just decent to good most of the time, SG hole is obvious, MKG is good but will never be an all-around threat IMO, who knows with the kids at PF if they'll reach anything, and Al is Al but potentially on the decline.
  3. Only one set of curves I recognize in that picture... Mmmmm that bill. Hawt.
  4. Seeing the cap numbers finally, I don't mind them. The cap will keep increasing making the larger hits 'meaningless' in a way compared to current ones, or Cam can be extended in 2019 or so, which could be the plan
  5. I like it. Front loaded will help...we have a "ton" of space next year...and when Cam's number drops...KB and others will be up for a contract. Good deal on the surface for everyone IMO in the QB market.
  6. Structured higher in the front, I like it. Get big numbers out of the way while we finally have cap space...and lower when guys like KB will be coming up for a payday.
  7. Suck it, Matt Ryan Black & Blue Review ‏@BlackBlueReview 41s42 seconds agoThe contract Cam Newton’s camp wanted to beat - Matt Ryan. Newton - $103.8 million Ryan - $103.75 million
  8. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 16s16 seconds agoCam Newton's new 5-year, $103.8 million deal also includes $60 million guaranteed, per source.
  9. 5 year, 103 million being reported on Twitter. Now we wait for the guaranteed. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 1m1 minute agoCam Newton and the #Panthers have agreed to terms on a 5-year, $103M deal, source said. Negotiated by Chitta Mallik, Tony Paige & Bus Cook.
  10. Can't imagine it being fully guaranteed. I'll love still having Cam, but geez that would be a dangerous contract
  11. I've already proven this wrong once, to a post you never responded to, but hey...you do you. Out of the Top 10 picks, only around 2-3 have extensions by now.
  12. IF it is 20 a year, color me shocked and happy. I was expecting 22-23. Important part will be the guaranteed money, but regardless.... WOOOOOOO CAMMMMM
  13. And to think, it was the runner-up to be the state capital. It's a town that could explode in the next couple of years due to some industrial megasites coming in...but like you said, it's tiny. More cows than people for the most part.
  14. I see your London, Winston Salem, and beaches...and raise you, Siler City, NC. Small picture, but not too many exist online.
  15. I know it's not THAT common...but seems like there's more than a few PAT that are pulled or pushed drastically and not drilled down the middle. Those will go wide now. Small change, but one that may make teams gamble more. Or out-think themselves and get into holes.
  16. Born in 91, was a Broncos fan and my older brother was a Dolphins fan (Elway/Marino dynamic) Worked out well for the little shithead version of me in 97 and 98...and when Elway retired, I jumped ship.
  17. Yeah, the catch made him an almost urban legend type player last year. But, dude was ridiculous. Eli was throwing the ball away left and right...he only played 12 games (really only 9 where he was productive/the #1), and still was ridiculous. The 9 game span I'm talking about...81 rec, 1,199 yards, 9 TDs KB in 16 Games - 73 rec, 1,008 yards, 9 TDs
  18. I wouldn't mind it, but we have little cap space. I'm thinking Dave will want to carry some into the season, wait for more cuts, or just roll it over to next year.
  19. Stew for a 1st? I'll help pack his bags and drive him to the airport. That said, with his contract and injury history...nobody is touching him.
  20. I like it. Tolbert and Brockel are both getting close to 30...Tolbert could save money this year by being cut, but also in the last year of his contract if I'm not mistaken so a successor is needed.
  21. If Mayo continues to impress, wonder if we'd ship Klein out if there were any takers? That said, I doubt there would be a decent enough offer to justify getting rid of a decent player.
  22. Awful stuff. Hopefully not as bad as is thought. I honestly wasn't that high on him being an impact player...but hopefully he gets healthy and comes back stronger than ever. Except Week 1.
  23. I don't know what it is, but I've got the weirdest feeling that Funchess is going to explode for us and be the perfect WR for Cam. It's going to be hard for me to contain my excitement about him after I've built him up in my head since last week. KB was pretty great for a rookie last year, but if he ends up being our #2, I won't hate it.
  24. Right or not, I'm operating under the assumption that Frank Alexander can't be counted on. He's been an idiot before, but hopefully he's turned a corner and ready to play. CJ, not worried. Ealy, showed promise, but he's still coming off his rookie year. Everyone else is meh as rotational players. If they do struggle (likely IMO), at least we have KK to rush the passer...and now with Shaq, a freed up LB to blitz more if needed.
