A few places reporting that Barca has accepted a £32m offer from Arsenal. Sanchez prefers Juve, but they can't afford him right now.

Juve need to unload Pogba or Vidal but no one is ready to buy them. Real is working on signing Kroos instead.

In other news: Arsenal contacted Real Madrid regarding Khedira transfer.

Everything appears to indicate that Sanchez is already a new player for Arsenal FC. Spanish and English press are talking about his transfer fee, which looks like it will be around 40 million Euros. If this is so, good luck Wonder Kid!

Yea. Apparently Lazar Markovic is close at £19.6m. He's really quick and technically gifted, but he's a ways off from being a real contribution.

Origi will need to happen quickly. Other clubs will get in. If we sign him, I bet we loan him back to Lille.

Arsenal is negotiating with Bayer Leverkusen, apparently Arsene wants DM Lars Bedner.  Estimated fee around  £20m.   

 

Seems like Wenger got some cash to spend this summer.

 

Arsene Wenger deciding between Khedira, Bedner or Scheniderlin.  I'd be happy with anything.

Apparently Barca already accepted Arsenal bid and Sanchez already agreed on contract. Arsene Wenger already start looking at other players...  I think Sanchez is either already signed or will be signed tomorrow.  Might be too late for Juve. 

 

Barca wants to sale Sanchez before they sign Suarez.

Liverpool agreed on Origi and Markovic is in advanced negotiation. Origi will be loaned back to Lille. I guess Liverpool moved on from Sanchez.

Damn, Liverpool close to spending all Suarez money.

I think Suarez and Sanchez deals are done. Will be announced tomorrow. Juve also start looking at other players.

Arsenal matched £150,000 a week salary Liverpool offered to Sanchez. I don't think Juve can afford that with some of their existing salaries.

I don't know if it was a smart decision on their part. Neymar is injured and Suarez won't be playing for quite a bit. They needed Sanchez more than ever.

 

Barcelona fans are pissed.  Sanchez scored 21 goals last season... more than Neymar and only 2nd to Messi. 

 

They don't want Suarez, they said their problem are their back 4 and not front 4.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy that they sold one of the best forwards in La Liga, spent a large sum on a guy who doesn't 'fit' their philosophy and ignored their biggest area of concern (the backline). I hope this trend continues...

 

Sanchez will thrive at Arsenal with players like Cazorla, Ozil and Ramsey passing him the ball.  I think if Barcelona told Wenger to pay 40m pounds, he would.

 

It was so frustrating to watch Giroud last year...  So slow and clumsy.  He had so many 1-on-1 chances where he was caught from behind and would just lose the ball.  Ramsey plays DM, he was injured for 3 months and he scored as many goals as Giroud did (16 goals).  How fuging sad is that?

      Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.

      After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...

      My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
