James arrived in Madrid airport.  Reports suggesting Real Madrid will pay £71million to get him.

 

If Real wants to also sign Pogba for £45m, they will really have to sell some players.  Di Maria and Khedira are the first few names.

The French newspaper Nice-Matin claims that Arsenal and Nice have agreed a 4million euros fee for Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina.The 25-year-old was one of his country's star performers at the World Cup.

Poo! I don't know whether I should take this as good or bad news.

 

Juve said earlier today Pogba and Vidal are not for sale so it's likely Madrid will try to keep Khedira, they will probably overpay him a lil bid.  So it looks like James might be your last signing of the summer window.

 

Arsenal now trying to get Carvalho from Sporting so I think Khedira is staying put in Madrid.  Chelsea also said they don't want him.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
