Your opinion is a bunch of malarkey. The whole world watches, many in the USA as well. So you don't like it, fine. Don't watch it, that simple.  But don't bash it, don't diminish this beautiful game or disrespect it because you don't like it. There's plenty of other sports that shouldn't even be called sports, but they exist and are categorized as such. But none are as popular as Soccer. The NFL is not as popular as soccer. So what if third world countries participate and watch this sporting event? What's wrong with that? Not a damn thing that's what. What does that have to do with ANYTHING? Third world countries participate and have American football leagues as well. Your point is just ignorant as fug and without any substance at all. You sound like an elitist bigot to be honest and you should probably stop while you're ahead. 

 

The idiotic notion that it's a third world countries sport is so ridiculous. When the USA, Germany, England, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands are all 1st world countries. They all have leagues of some sort and always participate in this event. 

 

Then there's the whole. "Waaaah, the scores are so low! This is boring! Wah!" stupid argument. This sport isn't designed to be a shootout like the NFL, even in the NFL, when two dominant defenses collide, they have a low scoring game that is similar to Soccer. The mechanics of the game of soccer make it challenging for each squad to score. It's a game more about suspense. The eagerness and anxiety that come to pass before each score is part of the game. It was made in a way that it takes finesse and intellect at a high level of speed to fuse and become that precious goal. But I'm sure someone like you won't understand this. That's what's wrong with people that hate this sport, they are so used to the instant gratification of the NFL.

 

 

In all honesty you're missing out on a beautiful sport. Keep doing you man. In the end its your loss more than anyone's.
