He'd be a good player to have, no doubt. However, that means Roberts is your third string and I don't think he signed to be inactive for most of the year.

Magic fans have to be pondering the pros and cons of mass fan suicide right now.

 

You went from days of Dwight Howard (pre-drama queen era), Turkoglu, Nelson, Lewis, etc. to losing all of those guys, getting a ton of cap space and blowing it on past-their-prime scrubs in BG, Frye, and Ridnour.  WTF are they thinking?

 

Oh well, much like with the Heat...  I am happy to see their downfall and can't wait to smash their teams this year.

Actually the Magic fans are pretty happy about Ridnour and Frye. They don't like the Gordon deal but they don't care that much because it's only 2 years.

If Ridnour plays significant minutes for that team they will be in trouble.

The Magic will suck next year anyways so it doesn't matter if Luke plays much or not. However, between Harkless, Harris, Oladipo, A. Gordon, and Payton they're pretty stacked for the future.

He'll take some time away from Payton, so I think it does kind of matter if he plays quite a bit.

If Payton plays well he'll earn those minutes back. I think Orlando envisions improving his jump shot before giving him substantial time. Again, Orlando will suck for at least 2 seasons regardless of who gets the most minutes on their roster.

They're going to suck but it's going to be hard for anyone to improve with Ridnour running the point. He isn't a player that makes anyone better.

Id imagine he'd be the 11th or 12th man on their roster getting around 6 mpg, but I assume you're thinking he'll get more, which in that case, I totally agree with you.
