There was countless posts here before the draft and before the first game where huddlers were so fuging mad that we were going to/ did draft him. I wish i could find them. So many idiots.

 

to be fair, i might have been one of those idiots. that was the first offeseason that i started paying attention to the Panthers' offseason moves and all i had heard about Cam was that he was a showoff that swindled money with his dad. and as a South Carolina fan, i wasnt happy about the beatdown he lead against my team in the SEC Championship haha. i knew the kid had talent, but i was very reserved about his future. i am glad he changed my mind...

And that ladies and gentlemen is why they gave Cam such a hard time out the gate - and continue to bash him every opportunity they get. 

 

Cam Newton made them look like completely uninformed, incompetent, morons - from his very first game! He dropped 400+ in each of his first 2 games in the NFL! And lost. If the 2011 and 2012 defenses was as good as last year's, those teams would have been serious contenders for the super bowl. Cam played every bit as good or better than Seattle's young gun. Wilson is very talented, but that defense and BeastMode are responsible for more of their wins than he is. 

 

Today's media has stoped being about truth and facts from the time they realized that there is an audience for  their baseless stories.  Pushing an image based on our personal prejudices is the new norm with today's media. Truth and facts be damned. 

 

Cam has been proving them wrong since his college days. Yet they continue to ignore and will simply wait for him to do something they can use to make their fictional points.
