Spotrac .com: Panthers have about 7.2 million to spend or carry over

The Panthers have two and half healthy running backs left. They are falling like dominos due to the Oline letting them get pounded play after play. You can put a beat up franchise QB in that group also. If these guys keep getting smashed, this season will be over very quickly. Looks like we have around seven million under the cap at this time according to Spotrac. I know we have contracts coming up with our big two soon.Do you feel that our situation is dire enough to pull some money and put a package together for a viable trade with future draft picks involved.There doesn't seem to be many F.A prospects available that will really make a huge difference. Maybe a middle found pick and pull enough money to pay a guy like Roos. Is this situation at the point where they have to pull the trigger and worry about Cam (and luke) at a later date?

sadly I bet that money stay put unless we lay some serious egg or have may injuries. I'd rather line up TE in our backfield before spending another dollar on rbs. smh... the temporary answer is on our PS and becoming healthy. If they do spend that money anything outside of a OLINE "PROFESSIONAL" is ridiculous. Overall I think we are what we are in reference to that money. Fozzy must get better because he could actually somehow run with our Oline...lol

I doubt we do that.  Guys like Benjarvus Green Ellis, Michael Bush, etc. are available for relatively cheap.  They are servicable.
