Yeah it's preseason Week 1.

Calm down you babies, most of these problems that we saw this past game can be fixed in a week's notice. The only real problem we have is something we were already aware of, stop being a bunch of girls and act like you know football.

I just find it funny that some of you guys are already predicting the sky is falling after some bad performances by our players. There are always going to be bad performances and good performances in preseason and regular season. I bet next week after we have an overall good performance (assuming we do), we're going to be hearing superbowl.

Ah yes, my favorite kinda thread... the bitching about the bitching.

<<Goes to start a thread bitching about the bitching about the bitching

I'm just trying to reassure everyone this isn't the time to panic. We still have a long way to go before we know full and well about the 2009 Carolina Panthers.

    • 100%. He's a serviceable starter but not a shut down CB by any means. Not too bad for $5.25M /year.
    • Crap on a cracker! I didn't see that from the original video. That's nasty.
    • It is like he just can’t be bothered with that stuff.    But seriously, rebuilding your entire physical operating procedure is so difficult that very few can do it. You have to get it in you so deep that you don’t think about it. Most people fall back to their comfort zone at the biggest moments. Because it worked for them up until ‘now’ and they don’t have to think about it.  You would think people would know this but here we are.  His so obviously wack unorthodox mechanics screamed to me that a rebuild would be necessary and that the single biggest reason I was so opposed to taking him.  It plays out all the time. He is in and out of what Canales tried to train him to do. That’s what the emphasis on 1 2 3 plant throw was about last offseason, as much as it was about getting the ball out quicker. But it is all connected.  You just can’t get the ball out that fast with his old routine, slows you down.
