Why so many taboo subjects?

Or, so many worshipped a very good QB and continue to do so with Cam.

Just playing devil's advocate.

Cam is no Jake ... thank god. But he's no Brady, Brees, Rodgers, or Manning either and never will be.

But people love him, like they did Jake, and want him here until he retires. And some want us to pay bank to make that happen.

Is Cam the answer? Hopefully. But if he isn't, will the FO have the balls to not do what they did with Jake?

Not sure how you can know the future of a 25 year old QB not even in his prime yet.

It seems like a minority here, but just read the Panthers Facebook page. There are more than you want to know.

it was an ugly loss. most fans are just going to be quiet and drown their sorrows and disappointments while those few who hate cam or are just looking for an easy scaoegoat are going to come out of the woodworks and make a lot of noise.

it's ugly and annoying, but understandable. people like thier chances to say "see, i told you!" and take advantage of them whenever possible. that's why you see the typical camhaters club gone and quiet while things are good, but when things are bad they show up in droves knowing that there will likely be others who crawl out from under the rug so they think its safe to come out. they're kind of like cockroaches and they're just part of life.

Those on the "boo hoo Cam gets no blame" Bandwagon,  fail to realize that Cam does get some blame...   we're just not going to make thread after thread demanding he be traded,  question his role as our franchise qb..  or threads about how Cam sucks.

Why not?  Because Cam is the least of our worries.

If he was allowed to play like he did in his first two games, he'd maybe be a possible future-elite. But if he's going to stay here, we'll never see that again. Well, until JR no longer owns the team.

Luck on the other hand.

And do know I'm not a Cam hater. I mean, look at my member title. But he's not elite right now. That's just a fact. He is, however, very good with flashes of great.

I agree he isn't elite, but that would come with time given the fact he's still young.

If he isn't elite though, then Luck isn't either.

Right now however I cannot say we are doing everything in our power to help him and build him up.

The fact that he has to even bring Luck into the arugment when no one mentioned him shows you where that guy's real problem is. I mean a guy in his third year ranking up there in most statistics with elite veterans is not elite. LOL

Hey genius. The guy who quoted and replied to me directly mentioned him.

    • I thought he started to develop good chemistry with Coker over the last half of the season.
    • To put it in perspective, this is a deep ball thrower. Notice how the efficiency basically has minimal drop off regardless of range. This is Bryce Young The other QB is Joe Burrow.
    • It really isn't though If you were to go out to a bar every week of the season, even to just watch one batch of games, i.e. just the 1 pm or just the 4 pm, and spent only $30 a week, you're looking at $540 bucks, $510 if you're just going for the 17 weeks your team is playing, assuming no national games. Also, from past experience, it's hard to spend only 30 bucks if you're at a bar for 3+ hours to watch the game.  Even just a small appetizer, a meal, and say 2 beers was going to run you $40ish, and that was back in 2019 when I used to go to BWW to watch all our games pre the Covid year when I just started finding streams and stuck with that until YouTube got the package from DirecTV. At $450 for a full season, to be able to watch every game, to be able to make your own quad box, to be able to switch between the sound for any game (at a bar in Michigan, I would never get to hear the commentary on our games)... It's really not a bad deal, and that's if you're only watching your team's games.  If you're a fantasy football junkie like myself, then it's a flat out steal, as depending on your TV set up, you can get every game from your fantasy matchup playing.  I do a projector with a quad box on it, a local game on the TV, and then if needed, I can put another game on my laptop and another on my phone.
