TY Hilton is now the leading receiver in the league. 3rd round pick.

Too bad we didn't have a 3rd round pick in 2012 lol Oh well, we wouldn't have taken him anyway. Hilton's a stud. Reminds me a lot of Antonio Brown. Undersized, but quick as hell, can make people miss, and makes tough catches. If he continues to develop, he could very well end up like him.

If 438 yards, 2 TD's and 2 int's is brutal, then that just shows you how good Peyton is. And I don't believe that QB's performances are dependent on the players around them. Brady had absolutely nobody last year and still got his team to the divisional championship. And I wouldn't call Richardson, Bradshaw, Hilton, Nicks, and Fleener a very great supporting cast. Good? Absolutely. Great? Absolutely not. They have a decent bunch. Now the Bears, that's an elite supporting cast. Too bad Cutler sucks ass.

Then, who the hell is catching those passes and running 20 yards with them? What more would you want from WRs that gets open and catch passes?

Peyton's stat were just catch stats against soft defense.

I know it doesn't seem like it because our offense is so bad, but WR's getting open and actually catching passes is pretty normal in the NFL.

Luck or Cam, if you had a choice, who would you pick?

I'm a Cam fan and I would pick Luck right now. Cam hasn't show us some flash in a long time now. I understand the issues around him but you can't be too dependent on what's around you either.

    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
