I'm a little worried but Dallas is the best offensive team in the NBA and we're without MKG and Gary Neal. That said a team fighting for a top 5 seed needs to at least be competitive.

This team was never going to fight for a top five seed. The pieces on the roster are difficult to try to fit together and the East is alot better than last season.

Instead of making panic moves I think we ride this one out much like the Pistons last season and if things don't change we become sellers at the deadline. That would suck considering the expectations for this season, but it would be a great opportunity to watch the young talent grow and get some cap space and draft picks to try again next season.

Time to fire Rich Cho

This would have seemed impossible last season but should things not turn around this roster is his responsibility.

At the same time, this roster us much more talented and deeper than the one Clifford took to the playoffs. He needs to be held accountable as well.

I gave Clifford some of the blame already this year.

Still, Rich is the no1 problem. Clifford can only coach. Rich put together a good team on paper, and bad team on the court.

No offense when your perimeter wing players are: Kemba, Lance, and MKG.

I'm rooting for players like a MKG, but gahhhhh hindsight 20/20 it's such a bad pick looking who was available at the time.

Rich Cho's scouting database is enough to fire him already . If it worked so well, it would've better us guys like Klay Thompson and Lillard, not Bismack and Zeller.

MKG and zeller are fine. We still had Kemba so Lillard didn't make any sense. Not going down that road with you again.

His draft picks have been alright and all have contributed outside of Bismack who is the only real bust. I have high hopes for Vonleh and if MKG keeps working on his shot and stays healthy he will be worth that second pick.

Lance was great value for what he has brought to the table but he doesn't fit what we need on the roster as long as Clifford wants to keep running Al-fense.

The good news is the schedule will eventually even out with more opportunities for wins but if things don't change MJ is going to have some decisions to make.

    • agree to disagree you are entitled to that opinion even though I find the argument completely bizarre based on data. I could type out a long paragraph discussing those areas but what’s the point. I posted a screenshot that showed Bryce in a similar post snap situation with a free rusher in his face which resulted in a TD - that’s what happened on the play so I posted it.
    • I've already addressed this notion in a previous reply. You are basing your assertion outside reality if you think Bryce would have not only been more successful but defeated the Patriots in place of Herbert. Bryce got blown off the field by that Patriots team with the highest paid OL in the league. We've seen Bryce with an OL that gave up 65 sacks and it resulted in the #1 pick. And that is not a defense of Herbert or arguing he is a great QB in any way. He has physical talent but he has been similar to Darnold early in his career in terms of his very up and down perfomances. However that does not change the fact that they have significantly less invested in the OL than the Panthers.
    • I think Tepper has been setting the stage where pending there is no miracle he wipes it all clean.  Think you already have been told that with small things like Evero staying.  Bryce is the guy next year.  OC, DC, everything stays the same.  QB room largely the same.  Nothing would really matter there.  They basically get one more shot and it goes how the schedule paired with our 27th ranked O predictably most likely goes.  Everyone out the door together.  Bryce is a bridge tier QB.  I don’t see Dave surviving where he could be bridge QB here in reality.
