Drafting in the top 10 means you suck as a team.  The Patriots almost always draft late and still make the playoffs.  Good coaching and a great talent evaluator makes a great team.  If you always draft high , you have poor coaching and a poor gm.  Is that what we want ?

If we get to the playoffs as the 6th seed and lose the first round (assuming nobody else gets into the playoffs with a worse record than us,) we will pick 21st. All playoff teams, regardless of record, draft later than non-playoff teams...

The division winner with the worst record gets the 4th seed.
