X files reboot

It's still in the works , but It looks like it's coming back. Who is excited for the reboot ?

I didn't see it either. But I think it could be a good idea only because they won't be winging the storyline. let's be honest, the story got kind of ridiculous.

Yeah once they like kept changing mulder's view on if aliens existed and they kept changing everything it got pretty silly.

One of my favorite episodes is where they do a X files and COPS mashup.

I think I'll enjoy the reboot because mulder and scully are a great team.

Yeah, that Cops mix up episode I believe was supposed to take place in Winston Salem, I knew it wasn't because we didn't yet have the cop cars that were shown

If Mulder is involved somehow, and Scully.

 

I think they could even have Mulder being over a team or Scully over a team, etc.

 

This is one of my favorite shows ever so I'd hope they wouldn't screw it up.

On the Nerdist podcast Gillian Andersen let it slip that Fox has talked to both her and David about bringing the show back. Not really a reboot just continuing their story.

That would be terrible.  The best part of their chemistry was how tight they were but how they never went cheesy with a romance, yet there was close times but I'm glad it never went there.

I think she really digs Hannibal.  She wasn't around much in season 2 because of her other show, but that got cancelled.  She was able to juggle a few shows in a row between The Fall/Hannibal, etc so I bet she could do this.  Hopefully Fox is smart and only does like 12 or 13 episodes with no filler nonsense.

david duchovny already has said that they are too old for a full season and he only wants to do a 12 or 13 episode season.
